On the flip side, I don’t think acquiring Turner as a huge move and a positive like you broke down. The Lillard dump will sink this team and Turner will not be a major upgrade. The bucks are in a real bad situation in my opinion. I don’t think the moves they made were good ones and believe they have are head down a dark road.

My problem with Myles Turner is that he's weak asf in the post. Brook was a brick wall and that made pick and rolls with him so much better. Myles needs to hit the gym because that pick and roll with Giannis could be deadly

He is changing absolutely nothing and they still are mediocre
For KAT, Wemby, Chet, KP, and so on, would it make sense to swap GA and Myles in those matchups? Having Giannis guard Wemby or Chet etc etc will make it easy to have myles guard the rim because his matchup usually wont be a stretch big.
And in unique situations where the opponengs go small (okc for example), the bucks could also run a small lineup to match pace with a group of RR, KPJ, GTJ, AJ Green, and Giannis at the 5.
I have a LOT of hope for the bucks because they seem to be a defensive minded team this season. Thats exactly what Doc looks for, and since he's infamous for not being able to adjust, id hope for him to have a familiar culture, lineup, and overall mindset that he can rely on all season for. Its also good because Giannis' greatest strength (imo) is the fact that despite his offensive peaks, he's been the BEST 2 way player in the world for a long long time. SGA and Wemby are definitely in convos to be better than him this upcoming season, but for the later half of the 2010's and the entirety of the 20's, hes been a monster 2 way machine.
A bucks team with players who have bought in and believe is dangerous. They have a great supporting cast filled with as much shooting as Giannisnhas probably EVER seen. The only non shooters on his team are kuzma (we don't talk about him), sims, and AJAX. Everyone else is good to elite.
A point Giannis season surrounxed by shooting with a defensive mindset seems like a heavy load for him, and it is. But i have faith that the bucks will have a chance to play through the hot hand EVERY single night. KPJ, AJ Green, BP, Myles, GTJ, Cole, and even people like Rollins and Coffey could have a hot night where they're just hitting everything. I think that as long as Giannis can be consistent (imo, hes been the most consistent player in the NBA – accounting for defense which is half of the game too), the bucks will only need 3 of those 8 guys to have a decent night. Those seem like great odds. I also have a LOT of faith in KPJ's development. He might not be the person who's given the most opportunity, since there's a big chance hes not even starting over cole, and Giannis will have the ball most of the game. But i believe that his IMPACT will be felt a lot this season. I think a lot of box score watchers and stat followers will struggle to rank the bucks this upcoming season because they arent fitting the criteria you usually see from high level teams, but the eye test (hopefully) will show the world why the bucks are in a great spot.
Considering the bucks went from a very slow, aging, injured core who had just lost their 2nd option for a year to heal from their torn achilles at 34 y/o, theyve outdone themselves to bring life and hope to what was certainly a doomed team. People forget that these past 2 seasons were not on Giannis and Dame's play, it was on their health. They played amazing in the games they were healthy in. Dame in 24 was amazing, and Giannis was amazing this post season too. They just never had a SINGLE healthy game together in the playoffs. No, those games when Dame came back dont count. He had just been cleared to hoop 5 seconds before entering the court and it was clear he was still not even close to 100%.
All in all, a good compromise for a very bad spot to be in. The bucks are now young, low in salary (compared to where they were before), faster, and everyone's role is very clear. If kuz gets sent for ANYTHING of value, the bucks will be in a fantastic spot

was infuriating to see him waiting to launch 30 footers while a 6’5 dude was on him , and the fact he was too slow to roll hard .. i can easily see myles with 18-19 ppg off small stuff like that
bucks backcourt is still one of the worst in the league, you could argue their starting pg-sf, are all just bench players

2. Keep Myles on the perimeter while GA goes to the basket.
3. He’s gonna piss us Bucks fans off almost as much as Brook did 😂
i mean we got everything but consistent scoring like we gonna be a top 5 D and top 15 O we just gotta have someone like gt2 kpj or rollo to step up and become a clear second option like we got wings we got the best front court in the nba we just need a great second option and i think kpj can do it
