I rather give LeBron the max more than Kevin Durant even though if I could choose, I wouldn’t give either. Durant is a great scorer but he is declining fast. Being 7 feet tall and moving like how he does is becoming a liability. His scoring is less efficient as his first step is slowing at a faster rate, his body isn’t moving as fluid as it did years ago. Lebron sure he isn’t the diverse and aesthetically pleasing scorer Durant is but he still puts up scoring numbers similar to him. You can’t tell me he isn’t an elite scorer if he puts up near 30 ppg still and on sometimes better efficiency than Durant. LeBron is also better at coordinating an offense than Durant is and when locked in a superior defender and a better rebounder as well. LeBron is a near triple double threat when Durant isn’t. And also, he is aging at a slower rate than Durant despite being 40

The difference between KD and bron is that the rockets have young guys that are gonna need to be paid soon so KD making 55 million and not being peak KD will hurt that. For the lakers, outside of Austin reaves they don’t have anybody nor have they been realistically rumored to get anybody that warrants a lebron psycut. Not to mention even at 40 bron is still better than KD.
