You’re disrespecting Dante Exum, the only problem he has as a player is getting injuries and recently they have been unlucky injuries. Don’t forgot how much he was producing when starting 20 pts a game asts rebounds. And a high clip from beyond 3. if healthy to me he is ahead of D-Lo that’s best case scenario of course he gotta stay on the floor

Me personally I have said it more than once. Signing Kyrie to that big contract was a big mistake. to injury prone

Brandon Williams is 25 and has 3 years of experience in the league. Give him minutes.
Are we seriously not going to mention "health" as the biggest weakness of this team? I would be absolutely shocked if this group could stay on the court for 40 games. I'm not even including Kyrie in this scenario.
Additionally, even Luka needed help form star calibre players. And Coop most likely wont have the same impact that Luka had as a rookie. If AD and Kyrie are both out (a likely scenario, lets be honest), asking Coop to lead this squad intermittently throughout the season is a huge ask. With all these risks, it's pretty hard to imagine this squad contending.
Also, it's a huge assumption that Cooper changes the Mavs timeline. Do we truly know how good he is going to be? We need to see him over the course of a full season. If his ceiling turns out to be a high-level starter, but not someone you build your team around, we will be looking for lottery picks for at least the next 5 years.

Mavs fans defending Nico move with Luka has to be most delusional guys in basketball. Now and then I will come here to see this comedy during the season. AD is 32 injury prone, Kyrie will be most likely 34 yo when he is ready coming back and Flagg is a rookie. To read Luka got exposed in finals meanwhile Kyrie had maybe what 1 great game? A Boston team was clearly above everyone else. A to read Flagg will locked up Luka is funny as hell. You have to hope literally everything will work out your way 100% to have a chance.
