  1. A sign and trade……

    Three Team Trade

    Jose' Alvarado to Brooklyn

    Ben Simmons to the Pelicans.

Two Brooklyn second rounders to the Clippers

    Why?

New Orleans: Jose' is on borrowed time anyway. Dumars and Weaver have to get Fears on the court to justify his selection and Jose' stands in the way. I'm not sold on Fears at all, but it is what it is. Simmons, when healthy, is an elite defender who shares the ball (7.2 assists), rebounds (7.4) and shoots the ball at .558 clip throughout his career. Last I looked, assists and rebounds are something the Pelicans sorely need more of.

Too, Simmons can play 1- 4 and in a pinch could play the 5. I think 15 minutes a night from a guy who plays both ends of the court would be fabulous. Is it a gamble health-wise? Absolutely!! But the Pelicans have gambled for seven years on the health of a player who has no skins on the wall compared to Simmons.

Brooklyn: Nets get a hometown attraction, GTA, who is a fan pleaser.

Los Angeles: Clippers get something just to facilitate the deal.

  2. I would love for New Orleans to get a 7 footer defensive big or defensive stretch that’s 6foot 11at the very least.

I’m not familiar with New Orleans offense but I’d say let JP be the main bal handler
    Zion being #1 scoring option

Get a 3&D wing and a catch and shoot guard or forward

  3. Jordan Hawkins is the best shooter on the team . Let's keep Hawkeye . Trey Murphy is just a 3 point shooter , he's not as lethal as Hawkeye as mid range shooter. Hawkeye in a trade for Hauser sounds ok to me because we get more insurance for Zion . But ownership will not pay the lux tax anyway. ( Hawkeye) Here to stay 😊

  4. I am thrilled the Pels got Jordan Poole!! He will thrive in New Orleans. We’ve needed a firebrand like Poole for the past several years. CJ was streaky & lethargic. I really believe this team is one 7ft talented center away from being a true contender!

  5. Replacing CJ's points is on Jordan Poole. Assuming everyone else steps up. Jordan will have to score at CJ's rate while adding versatility and defense. For us to be competitive IMO. He is the key.

  6. Vegas has winning around 31 games or so. If we are healthy, I honestly believe we can win at least 41 games. Poole will be great for us.

  7. I’ve been saying that not utilizing Jordan Hawkins more is criminal. He’s shown the development potential and can get even better with experience. If Dyson Daniels shows us anything it’s that the front office is capable of spotting talent they’re just not capable of developing them.

  8. The fact that this team and fans are relying on Jordan Poole to be a savior or something other than a bench player shows how low and bummy this organization is. Poole has been a goofy for most of his career, he didn't leave the Warriors they got rid of him, they were tired of his lack of production and BS.

  9. EDer Lots of options, and lots of depth. I think the center "problem" doesn't exist. If we stay healthy, we contend every game.

  10. I love JP on the Pels! This could be big for both parties. How do you feel about adding Malik Beasley if he clears?
