Salute! Pre-show, I feel this group with a new coach has a good chance to get to the Finals… it is open in the East for us at 100%. However, as it is a new coach and some new players, I'm not losing my mind if we fall short in the Eastern Conference. Anything short is unacceptable and bears drastic changes. I didn't mind Thib's firing. Time's up.

As a Knicks fan in his fifties, I’m still on my honeymoon, “Omg, we STILL have meaningful basketball in New York.” 😆
Do I have my reservations about World Wide Wes? Firing of Thibs? Mikal Bridges price tag? KAT’s chemistry with Brunson? Yes. Is it enough to be sour grapes? 🍇 Absolutely not. I’m optimistic about this upcoming season.
As with any new coach, there are gonna be moments where you’re like, “What the hell is going on?” That’s part of adapting to a new system.
As with any fearful New Yorker, I burn sage every day hoping the ugly past doesn’t return to NY hoops. 😂

#ReplayGang in the past 3 years we’ve been in the Elite 8 twice and the Final Four once (using NCAA lingo because of the Nova boys). Naturally the next step is the Finals. Considering the health of other powerhouses in the East the Knicks should be the heavy favorites to win the Conference.
Regarding Thibs, I lean towards being indifferent to his firing. Clearly there were players that had problems with Thibs. Remember Josh and Thibs’ timeout blowup? Bridges’ numerous subs sent at Thibs? How about Deuce’s comments after getting eliminated in the ECF?
Bridges won Games 1 & 2 against Boston. Thibs’ “preparation” didn’t.

If they’re never rattled by things on the court/field…what do we call them? Mentally tough. What do we call players that aren’t laser focused? Players that let no calls affect them? Mentally…what?
