  2. Younger fans who have mostly enjoyed team success until recently underestimate how difficult 48 wins is and may not realize the raps didn't achieve this until the 2013-14 season

  3. Kind of worried about heading into this season relying on Darko as the HC. He was absolutely fantastic as a development coach in a tanking season but now they need to start winning. He’s got a load of talent on this team, a high payroll with high expectations… He has to be able to adjust in game and not just have some pre-set rotation, he has to hold his guys accountable and bench players when needed, he has to place winning above development… I’m not sure he can do any of this. He hasn’t even figured out yet when to call a challenge.

  4. you guys rule! boy the off season feels long, but respect to yall for always making every week an exciting one when it comes to this team

  5. Some interesting stuff here. My question about CMB is what is his path to becoming a starter? At the moment he seems more like an insurance policy in case Scottie or BI get injured. That’s great for the first couple of years, but what’s the plan after that? Is there one or is it just wait and see what happens? That would seem to be rather haphazard for a top ten pick. On the other hand, I’m glad you haven’t written off RJ. I think eventually Ja’Kobe might prove to be a better fit, but RJ will certainly be a useful asset for the Raptors in the meantime and if they become a winning team at the very least his trade value will go up.

  6. All the media are going to look pretty foolish. We are getting minimum 48 wins. (I think 48-52)
Our defence will be top 8. Offence will be top 15

  7. If we look at last season with injuries and being told quite frankly, it was a development season. Look out if these boys stay relatively healthy.

  8. RJ, is not a cog for this team just as Siakam and FVV were not. You will see who all three of them are this season. We don’t need RJ and he needs to be moved to set this team up as a contender going forward.

  9. The sawdust and turning back the odometers is also one of the main things I remember from the book too hahaha

  10. It's very simple: if you pay any attention to the Raptors then you are likely optimistic. If you're an American Hack reporter you just don't care about them. They don't know because they don't care. The reveal is they don't mention the potential defence.

  11. Raptors podcaster are the dumbest in the league, they do not come from a winning culture like other NBA teams.
Its one thing about being a good communicator but it's another when you don't know what you're talking about.
Alot of these media personnel are young idiots in my books, they don't value knowledge in the form of correct info as number 1 priority.
Let the team play together first before you predict the future. A person's career shouldn't be based on prediction.
RJ college stats is so good I'm Suprise you guys disrespect the young man everyday considering people peeks at different times. I watched Zion and RJ go off for 61 for Duke so I got to see RJ needs to be himself he cannot be a European podcaster and shoot 3s just to shoot 3s. WE know RJ is a diamond in the Ruff and CMB is here for him.
I would trade IQ way before RJ, Shead is no fool and Jakobe is better than IQ and plays better defense. IM not trading a guy who leads his draft class in points, a guy who leads the Raptors in points since he got here. There is no one on the Raptors that contributed more points to the organization than RJ yet that's not enough even being hometown guy doesn't save him. THAT RACISM for you. total bullshit. I told you they are bottom feeders idiots

  12. Would be cool if you or someone could list up a report card of the major nba people/outlets on their predictions for the past 5 to 10 years
