Lakers finishing 6th and making it to the finals
I think if they gel together and stay healthy the Lakers are going to prove a lot of people wrong this season… Including you 3 Lake Show reporters with your low numbers that you have them at.
No disrespect, anger or negativity meant here but normally I respect your backing them up. Unfortunately I feel like this show showed your lack of faith in Coach Reddick, LeBron, Luka and everyone else on the team!
Again I feel like they are going to prove allot of media talking heads and suck ups wing this season when they destroy everybody.

I think a starting line up of Luka/AR/Vando/Bron/Ayton with Smart/ Laravia and Rui as key reserves can make the Lakers a top tier team.

I think y’all are underestimating the lakers. They were a dangerous team with a bad matchup last year and no center. Their starting line up matches up with the very best teams in the league talent wise. Fit is the biggest issue
Houston will start great until old Durant gets frustrated again or hurt. They will miss the Youth of Green and irritant Hustle of Brooks.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. Only the starters can score. The Lakers have had a problem with their bench since they won the title. Particularly not scoring. And they did not address that. They will suck again

Lakers are a 50+ win team, top 4 in the West. They will start slow and find their groove by midseason to finish strong heading into the playoffs, where they’ll get to the Conference Finals. People are underestimating Luka’s conditioning and motivation. Ayton, Smart, and LaRavia are all going to contribute significantly.
You dont know who is Luka Doncic. You see a injuried guy. This year you have the MVP…and LeBron, Reaves, Smart, Ayton…

Defense when it matters….and health
I think Malik Monk and Haywood Highsmith would be great fits for this Lakers roster. Monk could provide a scoring boost for the bench in a 6th man role. Highsmith is a reliable 3 & D wing player that could help Lakers’ defensive issues on the perimeter.

Lakers get marginally better without disrupting the roster and yet people believe they'll do worse. Yikes
Their ceiling is 2-3, people are forgetting how injury prone KD is and if he goes down the rockets are chalked. Their floor is 7-8, and making it thru the play in. But they never lose those games so they’ll be in the playoffs regardless
