Warriors Begging Lakers for LeBron?! Disrespectful!
The Golden State Warriors have reportedly called the Lakers multiple times over the last 18 months to explore a trade for LeBron James to pair him with Stephen Curry. As a Lakers fan, I say this would be a HORRIBLE move!
From LeBron dropping 42–17–8 at age 40 vs the Warriors with Bronny watching, to his legendary Game 6 in the 2016 Finals (41–8–11) against Golden State, his rivalry with the Warriors defines his legacy. Sending him to Golden State would betray Lakers culture, Kobe’s standard, and everything this rivalry stands for.
In this rant, I break down why this potential LeBron-to-Warriors trade rumor is disrespectful to Lakers history, why the Warriors are desperate, and why LeBron belongs in purple and gold until the very end.
