That Jan-March stretch that Jason keeps bringing up, Lakers played a lot of injured teams.
Mavs injured, missing all of their bigs…Timberwolves injured, missing Rudy and Randle….Pacers injured, no Miles Turner, Warriors before Jimmy and Kumimga injured…Clippers without Powell who was on a hot streak but got injured, Pelicans who aren’t good.
But sure, that one win against Denver was legit.
At least 10-13 games were against low hanging fruit.
Those are the kinds of regular season waves that Lakers fans ALWAYS ride before getting absolutely waxed in the playoffs.

Im generally with you on defending Lebron he gets a lot of incongruent scrutiny but he’s just not top 10 anymore. The regular season doesn’t matter. I watched every laker game last year. I can confidently say he’s prob somewhere closer to top 15. I think if Luca really shows up he can raise lebron back into top 10 category by taking some responsibility off his hands. It’s CRAZY how people can watch the SAME game and see completely different things. That’s what I think defines a hater-they ONLY see the negative. No player makes every shot, plays perfect defense and never makes a mistake. A “hater” will ONLY talk about those things. They don’t see the 3 3’s that put the team back in the game, the critical block, steal or free throw but they can tell you every mistake and some make up even more.
