There's lots of places to send Markkanen. Terry Rozier in Miami is at 26.5 expiring, that gets you over half way there. They can eat some money too. Anfernee Simons in Boston is Expiring 27.5. You might not get all 46 million back in expiring's, but that's ok. Plenty of options in three and 4 team deals as well. There's tons of options if you get creative too. It's interesting to think about what a Markkanen, Kessler package could get. Let the Filipowski, Hendricks, Baily front court era begin.
Lauri will not be traded. He is staying in Utah for a long time.
Excellent point. 46mil should have certain performance incentives/guarantees. Maybe time to consider more flexible/adaptable contract types (none of that guaranteed/nonguaranteed bs). Also shorter contracts to make almost every year a "contract year". Make the season shorter and lower the costs to view/go to games. Expand the league…

We’ve literally Gutted our whole Team twice in the past 6 Seasons. Jazz fans will lose their minds if we trade Lauri… First trading Donovan and Rudy… Then getting rid of All the further Assets they received from them since like; Clarkson, Collins and Sexton. It’s kind of a joke at this point
