  1. Doc, have you got any got recs for low profile orthotics I could stick in low shoes like the AC13?

  2. I think li-ning yushuai 18 ultra and li-ning yushuai ultra low are honorable mentions. I really like my ultra low's. Speedy and light but extremely stable, at least on my foot. Really underrated pair.

  3. The AC 13 and Two Wxy V4 or V5 are great! I agree, really can't go wrong with them! I appreciate the highlights on the pros and cons of certain features, like how LeBron 22 is really stable and durable, but with those features, it is also bottom heavy.

  4. Thanks to your videos, I just got the New Balance TWO WXY V5 in 2E size, because I'm an ankle sprainer and I have wide feet. I also have Move insoles (Game Day and Game Day Pro). Do you think the shoe would be even better with a Move insole or should I keep it stock with the original insole?

  5. Been testing the GTs. Takes time to get used to since those allow natural forefoot flex more than full length shanked ones. Loving it so far but i do miss the trampoline effect of longer top loaded/sandwiched shanks in shoes 🤣. Even if the foam was the most plush ive felt in a basketball shoe, they never felt unstable at all. Agree with the description of the video of it having a wide flat base making it great for wide footers too.

  6. an unrelated question doc, i have a pair of harden 7s and i have no arch pain and its pretty comfy, however my kd 16 which are mad comfy, they make my arch pretty sore. is it the drop of the shoe or what? Im just trying to learn what makes a shoe good for arch pain

  7. I can attest to the KT10, that shoe is amazing in general, but that clip flange saved my ankles countless times, works very well.

  8. Both the AC13 and KT10 gave me some crazy cramping along the side of my foot which was obviously due to the beefy lateral support. Didn't have that issue with the Jokic's and think sometimes having that stiff outrigger can just be straight up uncomfortable it's digging into the foot.

  9. Ankle Sprains🤔… It’s all about proper FOOTWORK and BALANCE ! Unless they were able to invent a shoe that prevented you from landing / stepping on another player’s foot.

  10. I am surprised none of the Curry's made this list, while they are on the cheaper side with a not so beginner friendly cushion set up, their ankle protection is crazy, it's like a warm pair of winter gloves wrapping up the ankle area. Not a surprise since Curry is known to have ankle issues throughout his career.

  11. Great video! Now I need a “What’s the best basketball shoes for FHL tendonitis video”… lol. I just got my diagnosis today

  12. Thanks for this. I’ve been contemplating the all city 13 since they are on sale now. This confirms it. I’m buying them

  13. The best ankle support ive ever tried was in the jordan 38 and adidas pro bounce 2018.the kt 10s are up there too

  14. Love this series, there is no one perfect shoe for everyone. I had to buy and try on so many shoe because I am a 13 4e with custom orthotics insoles.

  15. I have been using my lebron 12 and kyrie 4's for my ankle, and ever since I got them, my ankle hasn't sprained 👍

  16. the Joker 1 GT's are the only pair of shoes that I immediately copped another pair soon after receiving my first one. They are sooooo nice to play in and even just casually walk around on. Tommy Liu was bang on on them being the best shoe of the year.
