When Trajan gets his head out his ass and realize that he has the core already. And also get a power forward. As it stands right now if Trajan doesn't sign Ivey and Duren to reasonable contracts before the season starts. He will end up paying them too much next summer and won't be able to afford the power forward the team needs. All you have to do is go on spotrac and see what the top 15 power forward are getting paid. The longer Trajan takes to get one the more expensive is going to be.
Bring back Malik then then can trade for that power forward.
Detroit Basketball 🏀 why not
If everyone balls out like you said and deserves the money they all asking for detroit should win the chip. That ain't happening
Anthony gets it. Its a FAR bigger gamble to not extend Ivey and Duren and risk them playing great and then we cant keep the core together due to salary cap. Lock those guys in NOW.
Isaiah Stewart is over paid. He averages 5 points and about 6 rebounds 😒
Thanks for having me on enjoyed the conversation
Sign him back and trade Duncan Robinson.
Duren extension would be a disaster. He's a bad fit with Ausar and we can't trade him at the deadline if we extend him.
The odds of trading him for a 3&D center is much higher at the deadline than after he gets paid.
This deadline is Langdon's last chance to fix the roster with expiring contracts and cap flexibility.
Ivey will probably struggle early as he recovers from injury. This makes it likely Langdon will sell low at the deadline. But it also means we might be able to retain him on a team friendly deal as a RFA.
