Mavericks Trading Olivier-Maxence Prosper, 6 Potential Teams Interested?
The Dallas Mavericks are working on a trade involving Olivier-Maxence Prosper to clear the roster space needed to officially sign Dante Exum.
Prosper, the 24th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, played 52 games last season for Dallas, averaging 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.2 minutes. Reports in late June already hinted that the Mavericks were exploring a trade for the young forward.
Meanwhile, Dante Exum — who has spent the last two seasons with Dallas — agreed to a one-year deal on July 2nd, but it has yet to be finalized. Exum averaged 8.7 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 18.6 minutes across 20 games last season, providing steady backcourt depth.
The move reflects Dallas’ effort to solidify its guard rotation while making tough roster decisions on young talent.

I Think Washington Or Utah Would Be Perfect For His Development Because He’ll Get Touches And PT But New Orleans Might Work Too Doe
@cyro you missed an obvious team, omax is canadian. they would have to cut lawson to sign him but its a possibility. problem with omax is he is a non shooter. and isnt a good defender. his shooting percentage is really poor as well. so he would be bad for spacing. but toronto seems to like non shooting big men. guess he would be like a chris boucher type that cant shoot yet, or defend well.
@cyro asseo this is where raptors look really stupid signing a washed garett temple who isnt gonna play and is washed to babysit the locker room taking up a roster spot.
