Neemias Olajuwon Queta ☘️☘️☘️☘️💪💪😊
Listen all I expect from Neemias is effort! Effort on his defensive control effort on his rebounding effort on his finishing!!! If he can do that he can easily be a double double machine. 10-12 ppg and 9-10 rpg is all I'm asking anything more is a gift!
☘️☘️👊
Always thought Queta has great potential. Bench guys often get overlooked during the reg season because of the Celtics stars… remember a couple years ago Pritchard was frustrated being on the bench not getting minutes and wanted to be traded. Few mins, less chance to shine. Happy Queta shined. Need him in reg season with no Luke, no KP.
Fools gold
Rebound, rebound, rebound and defend the rim
skilled Centers can cause a lot of ruckus in Euro-League.
It's basically an overhyped 6'7" and under format
We have to come to realise that we have a terrible roster that is currently squandering JBs and JTs prime.
I believe Serbia is Next. That should be a better test for Neemi.
All I know is that Queta doing well in this tournament is better than than him playing like crap in it
Boston seems to have a way with turning bench players into starting caliber players
Good analysis John about Queta's game. What he does against Jokic, Sengun and KP, will truly tell us how far he is progressing. Let's hope he's on the 'right path'. If he is, The Celts will surely benefit!
Keep that ball high MFer ☘️
Cool T-Shirt!
Team Germany up and running. I d love to see a game against Giannis live one day.
Well, he'll have to play against Jokic, Giannis, KP and some other guys in the games ahead, I believe. Look, there's no BAD side to it, but should we get any more excited/take more from this than, say, last summer's Olympics? I doubt it.
We all know how the jokic and senguin are gunna go. Can’t we compare him to regular starting centers before we compare him to all star centers
So you guys expect to evaluate queta against jokic and sengun when the second best player of portugal plays like the second division of spain. Winning a game was incridible already and its a feat on its own
Just for some context, Czechia ranks 19 in fiba rankings, portugal ranks 56… he made up for the difference
I have been saying that for a while about nEEMY. He is almost bowlegged. I’m not sure if it’s strength or just the way he moves, but he looks like a newborn. Deer when he gathers to jump.
I think the audience is smart enough to realize that the level of competition is not the same. I hope people are not expecting him to put up 23 points with 18 rebounds in an NBA game because of this performance.
Before even listening to this, I remember a ton of talking heads (John included) that use to not think highly of Luke as a starter/primary backup and look where he is now.
Next man up!
so Max Strus of the Cavs will miss 3 to 4 months due to a foot fracture and this opens the door even wider in a weak eastern confrence
Lets see him against Serbia and Turkey when he is matched up against NBA centers, I think Queta will be more featured in the Portugal offense and get a chance to showcase his skills. Defending Jokic and Sengun will be a challenge but will let us see how he's progressing on that end of the court
I mean I’m not arguing against using him more this year but we do already know what type of player he is. He isn’t going to space the floor, he isn’t going to take any shots outside of the restricted area. He runs out of gas quickly and is a below average perimeter defender for the C position. I think overreacting to a Euroleague game is a just a staple of off-season ball
Neemais Queta has a height advantage over Alphren Sengun
Wow what a great disrespect for your player. First of all this is a great game, Portugal is in the bottom half of european teams in terms of quality and it is a success for them that they qualified for the european championship. they know that it is a world miracle for them to beat Serbia and Turkey and even Latvia. That is why for them this yesterday as well as the match with estonia is the most important to get through the group and they did a great job in the first half of the job. On the other hand the czech republic is much higher in reputation than portugal and no one in europe considers them that weak but their main players Vesely, Satoranski either don't play here or are no longer in their prime.
And I see that you are dissatisfied with Queta little you can't have a better backup center when you overpaid your main stars. And if he is smart after this disrespect, he should return to europe because for that money he could play in any euroleague team and be the star of the team.
If you want to learn(from a fans point of view) what the pick and roll is watch this game. It was over and over and over again.
Queta is a back up center.. that is his ceiling. The point about him being knocked kneed is spot on guy looks awkward af running the floor nd that's not fixable. If queta wasn't handicapped basically he would have much better coordination. Only way he can compensate for this is IQ he will have to be a cognitive player nd honestly Im hella skeptical that is possible.
Definitely needs to strengthen his base and develop a pivot/drop step game with both hands. Still waiting for a Bigs Coach on the staff Brad/Joe needs to address it
Queta reminds me of Kendrick Perkins. Unfortunately I dont know if even a prime Perk could find work in the modern NBA.
You can't be a total zero from outside of 5 feet away anymore.
I am excited to see Queta against Vucevic, KP, Joker, Segun etc
I hope Portugal advance
No one in the comment mention it was against Czech Republic and not chechia, that so funny how Americans has no clue in Europe countries
There’s something there
You will be wrong John!!! 🤣
He’s a better version of Rob Williams just as I thought and I hope he gets to start this coming season so we can see him in full NBA FORM
