Good breakdown. But if Steph is always creating 4 on 3 advantages while being the best pull-up shooter in the league, with a decent defensive game, why isn’t him top 5 or even higher. He’s lost a bit of speed, but I think he’s still on par with his 22 season at least in terms of individual talent.

One other point about the impact of Steph that also didn't show up in the box score – his screening.
He's willing to screen much bigger wings then himself and it gets the warriors good looks and/or buckets. With every Steph back screen, Steph's defender is so paranoid about Steph breaking loose and running out for a 3 that he literally never leaves Steph to help his teammate being screened. This directly leads to layups and dunks for Steph's teammates, but this does not show up in the box score.
It's crazy that teams are so scared of his shooting that they give up dunks to stop him from attempting a shot.
And that selflessness is very rare for a superstar of Steph's caliber

You better mean Jokic now because Steph is top 5 all time and Jokic will never be on Stephs greatness level all time. Stop. They shouldn't even be in the same sentence..steph literally changed the game, only unanimous mvp, 4x champ, led a team to victory at 34 as a gaurd vs the overwhelming favorite celtics, has an unbreakable record that hes gonna keep adding to, saved the country from embarrassment, still whooping players asses at age 37 and oh still all nba. Like stfu to anyone who disagrees and forgot

The issue is the vast majority of people watching Steph play only see on ball stuff and don’t truly understand the impact of his game on everything else. This is why people get in awe of guys like Harden and Westbrook because they affect the game with the ball. Steph affects it with and without the ball in a much greater way. It is sort of the same when you discredit off ball defense because you aren’t seeing them dominating on ball. This is also seen in Steph and Joker. Both are good off ball defenders, which is how they lead the league in steals, but don’t particularly defend well on ball.
