Podz and Moody were playing injured in the last playoffs (seeing as they immediately got surgery after the season ended). This is a pointless discussion.
Can we get an episode updating us on what the guys summer workout routines have been? Is Post in the weight room? What's Trace doing to improve?
Isn’t Brandon’s plus/minus off the charts?
Kylen is great. Definitely has the BBIQ in the relationship.
Podz shot 75% on FTs last season.
Podz is a role player who Kerr has elevated to starter/budding star status
He definitely deserves a role on the team, just not the one Kerr has gifted/anointed him
And homers in the media wanna believe it so badly they’ll overlook his obvious shortcomings
He’s the primary ball handler but is incapable of creating for himself or anyone else
No mention of his late shot clock hand grenades when the stupid deceleration doesn’t work(which is more often than not as the league has seen it and expects it)
Ahhh yes, the cliche machine “Podz is smart”👌
Stereotype much?🤦♂️
Kylen just said Podz is a “great facilitator”
The great facilitator was the primary ball handler in 12 playoff games, he averaged 3.1 assists/gm
Regular season he averaged 3.6
Sorry, the numbers don’t support him being a “great facilitator”
However, to your credit, you’re both spot on re:Q Post. He’s a valuable piece in the rotation. If he gains some strength, he can be a more effective rebounder and defender
Let’s just call a spade a spade, Podz is literally just a run of the mill bench/role player lol Kerr has anointed the kid as Klays replacement and he’s barely an NBA player, that’s the issue. He can’t guard ANYBODY, he’s small, he’s not a great assist guy or connector like Kerr says and outside of some floaters he can make, his offense isn’t that good or consistent. He spends a lot of time running into the paint just to run back out and do nothing with the ball lol
The comments and the hate
Ya trade a guy that does a lot on a rookie deal lol
Live podz let’s go
Posinsky was injured, right? You guys I don't know what to say about you.
How can you facilitate if you can't create advantages off the dribble?
Just love love Kylen. She tells it like it is. Charlie can be too Pollyanna in his analysis of there g league players. Post needs post moves. The league is moving to two bigs. Just shooting threes is not enough for a 7 footer. He must rebound and box out. We no longer have loon for that. And Horford will not be playing back to back or playing super hard all year.
You act like the college 3 is not closer than NBA 3
True that Podz did a lot of starting to drive to the basket and then pull back and pass. meanwhile, the whole team is left not knowing what to expect. Odd. That said I'm a fan of Podz and really trust that his shot is going to fall at a much higher rate this coming season.
relying on podz during any season is a joke
Excellent breakdown on what Podz and Post needed to work on in the off season. It might be helpful for Podz to move off of point guard duties as a Steph backup. If Brogden were signed and stayed healthy he'd be a plus backup for Steph and Podz would be effective sliding into the two off the bench. Right now he's an archetypal role player, not a starter. Everybody talks about Post improving his defense. But you guys hit the nail on the head with him adding 15+ lbs of muscle. that would go a long way to improving his paint defense. It's doubtful he'll ever be any kind of perimeter defender, but he could even improve in that area, as you so aptly suggested, by working on his lateral movement and footwork. It helps that he anticipates well.
Sooo I'm the only one who didn't know these 2 are married
Podz is not an all star player, he is a good rotational player. Don't expect too much from him.
When PODs bring the ball up he just passes and go to the corner, never to be seen again or he drives to the middle and picks his dribble up and walk with the ball. He can''t can play D (Cone D), he is a college scorer NOT an nba shooter.
Too many blow by's, depemds on help D from Bigs too, everyone brings up how smart PODs is … smarts does not atone for physical skills . Look PODs will not be an allstar, maybe a journey man , but thats about it…
Podz breakout year! Are you crazy? Breakout, the year warriors will not even make playoffs.
that dude is so annoying i dont know how shes married to him, he overrates every player on the warriors and has a smug look all the time.
Y’all are married mind blown 🤯
Homegirl must watch ten games a year and not follow news. Jesus
In my humble opinion, Podz would not be a starter on any other NBA team. He's a good role player at best. Metaphorically speaking, the coach is playing his son.
I loved BP's +6.5 on-off last season. When he is on the court no matter who he is playing with he contributes to outscoring the other team by doing all the little things. If you take away his poor shooting during the 1st half of the season he was a very efficient and selective shooter/scorer (.590 TS% post All-Star break and 44% from 3P). A nearly 3 to 1 assist/turnover ratio is excellent for a young player. He shows great decision making. And is a 95 percentile rebounder at his position. If you don't think BP is a very solid player you just simply don't understand basketball.
BTW: No one on the Warriors had a good series against Twolves. Using that series as some measuring stick for an entire season is incredibly ignorant and short-sighted.
He stinks stop it, he's a coaches pet, Im jumping ship, the once beloved Warriors are trash now
