  1. I think Bulls doing well without him will be far fetched considering the start of their schedule. If anything he would use that to his advantage when the Bulls are 2-7 without him

  2. It doesn't give Giddy any leverage for him to hold out. If he doesn't sign the qualifier (QO), then he sits out a year and then next year the Bulls tender him the same qualifying offer again – this can repeat forever as the Bulls will always have 1st rights to his services until he signs either the extension or the QO. He cant go anywhere else and he loses overall value because he doesn't play. Bulls can keep him forever if they want too if he doesn't sign the QO or extend, he cant go anywhere and he wont be getting paid. He will remain a RFA.

Its better to not pay any of these guys then over pay any of these guys on this roster. He is a #3 right now , just like Coby.. Neither have lead this team to a single playoff win, so they should be paid as such. Not a penny more than $25M/yr for one of them and the other gets about 21M/yr. for the #3 and #4 slot on this team. They need a #2 and a #1 and they will not be able to get one if they fill those slots with #3 guys, like they did with Zach (a #3) and Debo (a #3). If they win a playoff game then they can pay Coby like a #2, but if they are sub 500 by the deadline, they basically have to trade Coby and get something in return as they are not going to pay him like a #2 and he can easily go elsewhere once he realizes that. And even then, he wont get paid what he wants from any other team.

  3. I blame the content creator for making his team believe he’s worth $30M when reports stated that they were never even gonna ask for that much lbvs

  4. The guy who actually looks like he has star potential at 22 years old is the one guy we’re hesitant to negotiate and resign
This Bulls front office really is something
If he ends up leaving if he takes the qualifying offer I’m done watching this team
I’m so tired of how bad they are at making the right team decisions

  5. There’s just no way this happens. There’s no way he’s going to pass up on millions of dollars just because he didn’t get the contract he wanted. You’re making more money than most of us will in our lifetime. Take the damn money and play ball

  6. Why couldn’t they offer him a 1-year 30 million dollar contract? It would be the salary he’s asking for and doesn’t threaten the bulls long term. I don’t know, but also wouldn’t that keep him restricted? So now if he has a great year we can still keep him in chicago.

  7. My biggest concern is that Giddey signing too late means he won’t have time to build chemistry with the team. I just don’t want this nonsense to put a damper on the group’s performance.

  8. Josh Giddey can you just take the money at 25 million? Come on man the season is starting soon don't be a headache and difficult like Scottie Pippen was

  9. I don't get it. The Bulls aren’t in a position to play hardball. Giddey isn’t worth $30M a year right now, but he’s trending that way and improving his shot. By year’s end, he could be at that level, and then a less cheap team/ownership will outbid us. We need to secure talent now since outside of Matas, who’s still 3–4 years away, we have no real hope. When Giddey’s deal ends, it’ll be Matas’ team, and we can decide then whether to keep him or move on. No sense in dumping a solid player with upside that's young, and already has made great memories with the team and fans here… Bulls aren't winning anytime soon. We are not attracting big time FAs soon.

  10. Bulls are making the right moves. If he wants to hold out, let him all year. Goodluck getting a contract after that lol. He will sign to the gaurenteed money Bulls are offering, he would be dumb not to.

  11. He’s not getting $30 Million. Plus the front office no where not going nowhere this season so they don’t care about loosing

  12. Absolutely nothing shocks me regarding Bulls Organization. If you can imagine the worst thing the Bulls would do, they would do. Giddy young and hungry. He can be the future of the Bulls. The means the Bulls will let him go.

  13. Not for nothing, but we got guards for days.
The bulls could "survive" for a small amount of games.
The one thing you have to do is imagine the year and a couple different ways and one of the ways that it plays out is that giddy shoots like 30 to 33% from 3 and the people around him are missing shots too.
It's a subtle reason why the contract is a tough one, because it does rely on the people around him. Injuries to other players on the team could affect his results as well.

  14. I just don’t get that… you traded Caruso straight up for Giddey. You coulda got draft capital along with him but decided not to. They valued Giddey as a core piece to this team. Viewed him as a franchise cornerstone. But now they’re deciding to NOT PAY him like one.

  15. Honestly they need to sign him for 25-30M a year. He is Young and he's only going to continue to get better. He was our engine last year and the second half of the season wass the most entertaining bulls basketball I have seen since lonzo first got hurt

  16. Ya hold out on a team that isn't going to make the playoffs. LMAO. You act like this is a championship team that is desperate to get everyone playing together. Man this channel has not gotten any better since the "In Arturas we trust" days. LMAO.
