Spurs Giannis Trade Saga Over Till Trade Deadline
The San Antonio Spurs have been linked to a Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo trade but that appears to be done until atleast the NBA Trade Deadline. Spurs pairing Victor Wembanyama, De’Aaron Fox and Giannis Antetokounmpo can be put to bed for now.

The brother cant be traded in the next 6 months, which takes it beyond the draft deadline. And Giannis isnt getting traded without his brother. That keeps them both in Milwaukee until summer 2026.
At that point, Barnes and Olynyk will be off the books but they still wont have much cap space since Fox's cap hit jumps to 51 million. And thats not even factoring in what youre extending Sochan for.
Basically you would have to package two of Vassell, Sochan, and Keldon and thats only if you extend Sochan now. Youre not trading Fox since he tanked his value to get there, and youre not trading Castle or Harper since they are on rookie deals.
All this boils down to one conclusion; Giannis to the Spurs is dead.
