What’s REALLY Behind the Golden State Warriors’ Silence?

What’s REALLY Behind the Golden State Warriors’ Silence?

Why did the Golden State Warriors do “nothing” this offseason? This documentary breaks down the real reasons behind the silence: the early Jimmy Butler trade that used up mid-sized salaries and a pick, Jonathan Kuminga’s restricted free agency stalemate in a cap-tight market, and the new CBA/second-apron constraints that make sign-and-trades tricky. We map what Golden State actually needs (82-game wings, a steady guard, reliable rim minutes), the gap between a 16-game team vs. an 82-game team, and three paths out of quiet: keep & commit, sign-and-trade, or the qualifying offer. We also look at how this affects Steph Curry’s timeline, Draymond Green’s value, and whether patience is strategy—or drift.
What you’ll learn:

• How the Butler deal reshaped July options
• Why Kuminga’s RFA froze the board
• Second-apron realities and trade matching
• The rotation pieces GS still needs to survive 82
• Three realistic paths—and their risks

Drop your take: pay Kuminga, flip him, or punt with the QO?

  1. They are waiting for that clown Loseminga to make a decision so they know where they stand with the cap. Pretty damn simple. Oh and if teams ACTUALLY WANTED Loseminga they would have preserved cap space to present him an offer. No one wants any of these RFA that much.
