When they came together the last time in national team, the team did not operate with Alpi being the leader of the team. It was Cedi before. He would lead the game. However, now everybody on the team accepted the decision that the the plays should executed mostly with Alpi as the central piece when he is on the court. Even Shane was saying after the first game: "This is the first time I am playing with an NBA all-star center. So we changed our game with that fact in our hands"
Basketball was not a popular sport in Turkey. 1978-1981 TV series White Shadow became so popular that kids started playing basketball. It’s one of the most popular sports in the country now.

The only things sengun should get better at over the next few years is attacking immediately and not holding the ball too long at times, and become a 32.5%+ three point shooter and 75%+ free throw shooter..he’s already a top 15 player, with that increase in efficiency he will be top 10 aka all nba 2nd team..and in 3-5 years Jokic will age out and giannis will age out, paving the way for sengun being the best big and a top 5 player by the time he is 27-28 years old..PRIMEEEEE

Shane Larkin did such a big job frustrating Travante Williams, stealing his possession, making fast-break baskets, getting him into foul issue early and taking out Portugal's biggest scoring chance. Proud of him for doing whatever the team needs.
