DALLAS — John Paxson hit a 3-point shot at the buzzer to give the Chicago Bulls their seventh straight win, a 109-108 victory Saturday over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks had overcome a 15-point deficit to take a 97-92 lead with 6:05 to play. But Michael Jordan then scored 8 of his game-high 43 points to lead the Bulls’ charge.

Derek Harper basket with 14 seconds left gave Dallas a 106-103 lead, but Jordan tied it with a 3-pointer with nine seconds remaining.

Sam Perkins hit two free throws to put Dallas up 108-106 with 5.5 seconds in the game.

But the Bulls, without a timeout, worked the ball to Jordan, who was guarded by Rolando Blackman. Jordan got a pass off the Paxson, who got off the shot just as time expired.
