If the NBA actually imposes a 5 first round pick penalty on the clippers as they did on on the timberwolves, the Clippers when all is said and done will have essentially given up 10 unprotected first rounders, 2 unprotected pick swaps, and SGA to acquire Kawhi
It’s very clear what happened, I’m my opinion. Baller’s friend wanted a contribution to his company. Balmer says, “I’ll do it if you endorse Kawhi”. Company endorse Kawhi for $28 million, then Balmer donates $50 million.
