Just wanna mention that Gallis is considered the greatest because of the memories he has created. He played actively in Europe, in European time zones (so people could watch) and was the first ever real greek super superstar. The entirety of Greece started playing basketball because of him. He was the pioneer. Realistically he can't be surpassed in greatness unless another Greek player comes up that does just as much but within Europe. Skill wise, yes Giannis surpassed him a while ago ofc.
The question to truly ask him would have been how can Giannis feel such loyalty to Greece when they treated his family terribly as illegal aliens. He only received a Visa because of his celebrity NBA status. If it wasn’t for that, they would still be second class citizens in Greece. How could he be so loyal to them?
The kid discredited himself when he said jokic is a good defender.
Sorry, but no. He's good at creating rebounding opportunities and collecting boards. He can deflect and steal the ball and is very intuitive. That said his SOLE RESPONSIBILITY on the court is to facilitate offense and when he plays both ends, his offensive productive goes way down.
