TOP Reasons to be PESSIMISTIC About the Raptors + BIGGEST Questions About the Blazers 🤔

TOP Reasons to be PESSIMISTIC About the Raptors + BIGGEST Questions About the Blazers 🤔

KOC and Trey Kerby dig into two big swing teams:

Toronto Raptors: Bobby Webster in, Masai Ujiri out. With Scottie Barnes starting his megadeal and Brandon Ingram finally in-house, can Toronto find a real offensive identity? How do RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Gradey Dick, and rookie Colin Murray-Boyles fit around a Barnes–Ingram core when shooting is still the question?

Portland Trail Blazers: Double-big in 2025?! With Donovan Clingan, Yang Hansen, and Robert Williams III, can Portland win with two non-shooting bigs in today’s NBA? What counts as progress for Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe—and is the smarter path play-in reps or one more lottery swing in a top-heavy 2026 class?

👂 Comment below: Are you more bullish on the Barnes–Ingram fit, or Portland’s twin-towers experiment?

  1. shows the lack of raptor knowledge thisteam isa easy 40 plus win rwam, watch out for jakobe walter breakout

  2. I look so forward to all of these doubters eating their words. Last year was half a year of devastating injuries and the other half trying to lose and tanking. There isn't a significant thing to be learned from last year. There isn't a significant metric that isn't tainted by either the first part or the second part. No one knows what this team will be like. They could either be a lottery team or a top 4 team. If they suffer catastrophic injuries again…obviously the former. If they don't and they have the capacity to gel…with all of those incredibly young players taking a reasonable step forward…then we'll see. Quickley is a great 3 point shooter. RJ is competent. Ingram is a good 3 point shooter. They'll be fine in that dept. If Scottie gets back to his previous years number and then betters it…that is an incredibly dangerous starting line up. All 4 of those players have the capacity to average 20+ points. Is there any other team in the NBA that has a starting 5 where 4 of the players could go off for 20+ points on any given night?

  3. If we had a healthy squad last year we would’ve won more than 30 games… and we were blatantly tanking to the point we almost got fined lol. With the addition of Ingram, cmb and mamu and a full season of good health (hopefully) we will shock ppl. I’m sick of these pessimistic posts. Go raps! 🦖

  4. The bulls? who’s the best player on the bulls? We have like 4 players that would instantly be the best player on the bulls foh.

  5. I think it’s fair enough to call this a season of evaluation. The starting 5 haven’t played a game together yet. I’m optimistic personally, but that’s why they play the games.

  6. KEVIN Spotrac & Google is there Scortie ia only making $225M/ 5yr startiing next year not $250M/ 5yrs? Tired of engaging U.S media & their so called sports analysts. This is why I limit the amount of podcasts & sports news from U.S " sports guys". Garbage!!
