    I have heard on some play by play announcer pronounce Sengun with accent on the first syllable, more like SHIN-gun. They also put the emphasis on the second syllable for Alperen, like al-PEH-ren. Can someone who speaks Turkish clarify?

    one of the announcers' name is Tufan Ersoz, he is also a former basketball player but I don't know the name of the main announcer.

    Indeed, the game unites but also divides people. I came across 'Serbia vs. Turkey Eurobasket Watch Along | DNVR Nuggets' Podcast where three bumblebees were making offensive, borderline-racist jokes about Turkish players' names, including pun-laden jokes about Turkey. Totally disrespecting Alpy, calling him crying baby and whatnot… So, it goes both ways…
    And, it is also true, if it wasn't for Alpy, I wouldn't be here, but for the record, I like it here…
    Here is a little anecdote…

    I remember when Alpy got injured and missed the rest of the 2. season, Jalen Green then had a breakout moment, and everybody had turned on Alpy, but not so much you though, you were not off the boat ;). But then the following season, after a couple of poor games, criticism resurfaced, and everybody again was putting him down, I remember, you were also a bit hesitant, cautious to fully support him, at one episode you rated him low, questioning his superstar potential down the line. So I wrote; "Alpy will make you eat that rating!" :))
    Credit to you though; you never turned your back on him and consistently supported him throughout most of his career with the Rockets.

    Hey Jackson: It would be nice if you open your next video about the EuroBasket with the song "OOOO 12 Dev Adam" meaning "OOO 12 Giant Men". This song was composed by the Turkish pop group Athena for the 2001 EuroBasket tournament held in Türkiye ( Türkiye team was second, Serbia got the gold medal and Spain the bronze medal in that tournament. Players like Pau Gasol was playing for Spain then) and ever since the song has been so popular everywhere whenever there is such tournament ( FIBA World Cup or EuroBasket) .     I hope Alpi becomes the next Hakeem of houston rockets and retire where he started his journey. I think as long as there is mutual respect, Alpi wouldn't ask for trade to win some rings like NBA stars. We Europeans are loyal to teams. Remember how hurt Luka was when he was traded..

    Great show, thank you. Turkish national team has a nickname: "On iki dev adam" (Twelve giant man). It also has a song from singer Athena, you can find it in youtube. If possible can you put the beginning of the song to your intro during Eurobasket?

    Serbia was without Bogi (the best gaurd at Eurobasket) and with injured starting pg throughout the second half. Just for reference. It would be like Turkey is left without Larkin.

    Alpi did great but all those burns will only gonna make Joker mad. Turkey should prey they don't come across Serbia again. They needed to make 18 3pt shots and to catch 4 off rebs in one possesion to win by 5.

    I'm a Rockets fan and I will support Alpi starting October, but…he did his 110% last night, Jokic wasn't even on his 80%.

    This was an interesting game to watch. In the end it was a very tight game and was decided between Sengun and Joker. Sengun outplayed joker and that was the difference in this game.

    This is a different Sengun than the Sengun from last year. I don't want to speak too soon but it feels like the leap is here
