It’s called cheating. The NBA better come with the same energy for the Clippers as they did with the Timberwolves for the Joe Smith situation. Getting $28 million from a company the team owner is invested in for doing nothing IS the paper trail. The NBA loses all credibility if they don’t drop the hammer. If not I am excited for my team to be able to sign free agents for under-market contracts and let the billionaire owners and their rich friends companies make up the difference so it doesn’t count against the cap. The second apron problem is officially solved!
