Indiana Pacers – Tyrese Haliburton & Myles Turner, what’s next? Achilles tear timeline bad news!
Haliburton injury confirm by dad to be torn Achilles with a return likely in one year – give or take.
ABC/ESPN/Disney broadcast of the NBA Finals was horrible campared to the excellence of TNT. Good news is that the TNT pregame, halftime, and postgame crew is coming to ESPN next season!

Pacers fans. What do we do now?
Hali looked really locked in last night. Such a shame.
You are the greatest and authentic commentary Ken. ❤💯
It’s clear the Pacers still need a reliable scorer, probably at the Center/PF position. They need someone who’s consistently getting 20-25 pts a night. Sign and trade Myles, and go get someone. Markkanen from Utah would be a good target if he was a Center..unfortunately he’s not. I would almost consider seeing what it took to get Giannis here (setting aside the petty differences between him and Ty’s dad).
Hell no they played there ass off Kent I proud of the team & know the Colts what the heck are they going to do aw what the hell….
They always are KENT!!!!!!!!!
It just hurts. Feels like Indy is cursed both Colts and Pacers. No reason to go into the tax for Turner at all now. Will be interesting to see what they do with Siakam. The NBA should be embarrassed to have ESPN present the finals
Actually mourning today. Have absolutely no faith in the colts going forward either. Prayers for Haliburton and Go ND football ☘️
We talked last week about the likelihood of tearing the Achilles after calf injury. My lowly physical therapist told me that last week and I passed along. Someone in that organization is very guilt of negligence, to say nothing of malpractice if medical personnel involved. This is crazy. We all talked about it. WTF.
Why don’t they wear mid or high top tennis shoes?
Kent, 100% on Mathurin. We keep. And unload Turner.
Let Miles go!!! Their two backups that got hurt early are better than Myles!! Rebound, make free throws, play defense. 👍
Mathuran is the only pacer who can rebound out of his area. He ran down long rebounds. The other pacers just stood there like they were nailed to the ground when the rebound came off
Haliburton didn't deserve to blow his achilles in a game that was only played for NBA ratings.
My opinion on the pacers roster, and Iv heard this from a lot of fans, it needs a make over, we can’t expect this every year with this roster and think we’re gonna be any better, we’re just gonna get the same results, the ownership is gonna have to fork out some money on a few really good players if this team ever wants to win a championship. I mean, think about it, the thunder has been to the championship twice in 16 years. They’re a smaller market team than we are. You don’t think their owner has not put money into thier team with younger better talent than we have. we waited 25 years just to get here one time. it’s not fair to our fans. our billionaire ownership for the Pacers needs to spend some damn money on really talented players. or we’re gonna get the same results every year and the fans are not gonna like it!!!
Thanks guys this was something special
Ben can become part of A Big 3 here! Miles 👋👋
I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but everyone saw this injury coming. He should have never been out there with an injured calf. His selfishness has cost the team, not only this championship, but also next year's opportunity more than likely. The team should have protected their investment and sat him
Kent, like you and all other Indiana Pacers fans, we feel horrible for Tyrese Haliburton, wishing him a speedy and total recovery! I feel like he was locked in last night and who knows what the outcome might have been had he not gone down, it is going to be speculation from now to dooms day! Kent, I owe you an apology, I jumped on the Myles Turner bandwagon and thought he would be the reason why the Pacers would bring home the chip, but I was sorely wrong! Myles didn't produce anything in the championship series, it was as if being in this position was too much for him. I hate to say it, but it might be time for the Pacers to move on from Myles; he had an opportunity to really show up when Haliburton went down… Myles is 7 feet tall, but there are far too many times when no one could see him while he was on the court.
I cannot stand the ESPN broadcasters, especially Doris Burke… It may be me, but Doris Burke seems to be both a Pacers and Fever hater!
There won’t be many centers available as free agents if you let Myles to leave
@Allen4800 you are spot on!
Man i shed tears in my living room when Hali went down, watching the game with my kids thinking about all the years thru elementary, middle, and highschool watching the pacers on basic cable with our antenna hoping we'd make it to the finals and every year we came up short yesterday was really heartbreaking for all us pacers fans i pray Hali can recover and enjoy the rest of his career 🙏🏻
I know that basketball is a big deal in Indiana. My grandfather is enshrined in Newcastle. Furthermore, I know that the game has changed since the big “O” came out of Indianapolis. Having said that, can someone explain to me what was Myles Turner doing in the finals ? I agree with you about Benedict.
