With Clippers not being a factor anymore in light of the new scandal, this puts Spurs in the Top 6-8 seed of the West.
Spurs defense is scary. Imagine getting past Carter Bryant, Jeremy Sochan, and Stephon Castle only to be greeted by Wemby at the Rim.

A team with 3 centers that can both score and defend will definitely make the playoffs.

Spurs don't need shooting to be an elite offense.
1st of all. Wemby is the best stretch big by sheer volume and is the only big who will take and make off the dribble 3s. That makes life for his slashing guards way easier. Guys like castle, fox, harper aren't gonna feel the wings and guards protecting the rim.
2nd. These spurs Identity is gonna be based around defense to create easy offense. They're gonna be top 10 offense just from getting a lot of easy transition pts. And having 3 guards who can push the ball in transition after a defensive stop and pressure the ball handler to increase the tempo is very important.
Fox took so many better looks the 51% season. That is the difference. The GSW playoff series seriously exposed the weaknesses with Domas and the DHO on top of the season Fox did that Huerter HB Keegan all shot near 40% from 3. Huerter and Keegan somewhat disappeared after that. The fg% wasn’t a fluke and I bet 37% on 7-8 attempts per game wasn’t either

The Spurs are one of my sleeper picks to make the playoffs. They added some great depth around Wemby with the addition of Fox last trade deadline, there draft picks and even free agency. They will be elite defensively but offense might need some work.
