The Suns Are NOT One Of The NBA’s WORST Situations AND Why Collin Gillespie WILL Change EVERYTHING!

Are the Phoenix Suns closer to NBA contention than we think? Benjamin Garcia thinks so.

Garcia breaks down the Suns’ competitive position, arguing they’re far from the league’s bottom feeders. He analyzes the roster’s potential, highlighting how young talents like Jalen Green could transform the team. “The Suns are one Jalen Green breakout season away from being in a really great position,” Garcia claims.

The host also explores Colin Gillespie’s role, comparing him to TJ McConnell and suggesting he could be a key piece off the bench. Garcia discusses how Gillespie’s defense and shooting could impact the Suns’ second unit.

Tune in for an optimistic take on the Suns’ future and insights on how they could quickly climb back into NBA championship contention.

  1. I'm REALLY Sorry about the audio quality on this one guys. I didn't realize I wasn't recording into my microphone until AFTER I recorded. I'll be better next time haha!

  2. Lol. Let's be honest PHX ain't a player destination. The owner would be the first reason nobody won't voluntary sign as a free agent. Lastly, Booker ain't guaranteed to stay long term. Just coz he signed that extension, he willing to stay – he just smart not to leave that money on the table.. 👀
PHX must hope JG just need a new home to take that leap. And those rookies pan out. Booker will be worth a ton of LATE 1RPs. With those restrictions with the new CBA /2nd apron – dumb spending ain't gonna happen. Teams are gonna be choosy absorbing big contracts..

  3. 44 wins (+/- wins): 16-18 wins thru Dec, 26-28 wins from Jan – to end of season. You will see: Green/Book start but quick sub to stagger Green/Book (Gillespie, Goodwin or Butler tandem with Green/Book) until Green/Book close out game. Often seeing 3-guard lineups, Double-Big lineups (made popular by Houston last yr), 3 or 4 forwards lineups. Key will be fast tracking Fleming over Maluach. Fleming playing small-ball center will unlock the Suns greatest Death Lineup.

  4. My best Suns Death Lineup (take on Warriors Small-Ball lineup with 6'6" Draymond at Center):
Green/Booker/Dillon Brooks/Dunn/Fleming (All 5 shooters from 3). "Brooks & Dunn" can set screens allowing
Green & Booker to have their most efficient games as a result of so much spacing. If Dunn isn't hitting 3's, Butler, Royce, Grayson, Niguel-Hayes, Livers might be experimental.

  5. It’s hard being a suns fan with the other delusional suns fans. I’d be surprised if the suns win 30 games. This is not a well built team. I honestly think suns fans will come around to trading Booker when we’re under 500 by the all star break

  6. “We’re talking about players like Nigel Hayes not playing because depth” 😂😂. I mean he was just out of nba because he couldn’t play so makes sense 😂. Setting suns fans up with terrible hopes

  7. The Suns do need a competent starting PG. Book played at his best with competent PG play. The last couple seasons were down seasons for Book. Book needs a pg. They're pretty much making the same mistakes. Ishbia isn't learning.

  8. Honestly, the Suns are probably the worst positioned team in the NBA. No picks. A non-competitive team with no cap room, and $20M/yr in Beal dead-money for 5 more years. A top-20 player in the league with the most expensive contract in the league, closer-than-not to being seen as a negative contract. No realistic expectations for the recent picks to be win-now impact players for this season. And after absolutely trashing the idea of a Jalen Green mock trade for Kevin Durant during the entire offseason… now Jalen Green is on the verge of becoming a superstar? Disappointing argument to say the least.

  9. Let’s be real here, the top free agents value winning and being apart of a competent franchise more than being in some warm weather. Not trying to be negative here but when has the Suns been an attractive free agent destination? They got all their stars either through trades or through the draft. KD AND Beal were acquired via trade. Stoudemire left for the Knicks, mainly cause the suns didn’t want to pay him what he was asking for but he still left. Barkley left, Plus most Star free agents aren’t even going into free agency, they get contract extensions then ask for a trade in a year.

  10. I’m with u on 90% of things u said except premier destination I think a few other teams may be more appealing
