  1. They should lose 7 picks and pay $7-$10 million dollar fine. Contract should be voided. Ballmer should be suspended from attending games for a year. Sad, Clippers had a chance to make the final 4 this season. With this over the team, watch them stink.

  2. The fine should be Kawhi leanord is automatically a free agent, contract voided and can’t sign with clippers, the clippers salary cap drops by what Kawhis contract would have been plus $7M a year or whatever the difference he was being paid yearly was for the life of the contract he had signed and they lose at least 3 picks in the first round.

  3. Joe smith’s case wasn’t discovered by a routine audit. His former co-agent who was partnered with another agent in his former agency had a falling out. That former co-agent turned over an absolute paper trail to prove Joe smith signed a below the market deal, but also signed a contract worth 114 million dollar deal that can’t be enforced until after his 3rd year of Minnesota deal. That deal even got the owner and Kevin McHale signature, letters of agreement and other signed documents to prove a deal was in place way before he agreed to a below market deal. His former co agent was pissed and thought he and Joe smith had a financial understanding until Joe smith fired him and choose the other co agent instead to represent him.

The kawhai deal need that informant with tons of documents to implicate the clippers on wrong doings, not just some random bankrupt marketing firm with no paper trails

  4. This short doesn't account the fact that the CBA rules now are more forgiving though. At worst, the Clippers get a first offense $4.5M fine (Sec 1), lose ONE 1st-round pick (commissioner discretion) and a $7.5M fine for violating Sec 2 of the CBA. That's chump change to them. 5. Fraudulent? Question. Why does it matter so much that ballmer paid kawhi 28 mil through a third party endorsement? All this case did for me is confirm to me what i have already suspected from the beginning about athletes getting paid under the table. Which to me isnt even a problem, if the owner or whoever is willing to pay the player under the table, then im all for it. It happens in all sports for every athlete.

  6. Here’s the thing though if you into every team I am sure you’re going to find this being done in every sport. You have to be naive to actually be shocked by this.

  7. If this guy seems familiar to you, it’s because he’s the “DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS” guy from Microsoft from the early Internet
