The Kings have firepower with Sabonis, LaVine, and DeRozan, but the defense keeps bleeding points and the roster fit looks clunky. We break down how the Fox trade, ownership choices, and a new staff created a team that scores but struggles to get stops. With all of that said it looks like there may be a glimmer of hope with Keegan Murray, Keon Ellis, and a few smart moves that could balance this lineup.

  2. Kings will win more than they lose and will probably be between the 8 and 10 seed. People underestimate the impact of the Fox drama on last year’s squad. Christie has his own staff and will change the culture.

  3. They were forced to trade Fox. The mistake was getting Zach Lavine instead of going of more picks or shorter contracts.

  4. Vivek is a gambler who wants to win now rather than in the future. It’s great for selling tickets as well as keeping Monk, who is a fan favourite. With this in mind, I reckon rookies and young players that haven’t proved themselves above average are more likely to be traded

  5. Sabonis is definitely one of, if not, the most underrated player in the league. He is wasting his prime in Sacramento. He really should be 5 time all star and made another all-NBA 3rd team.

  6. I love DeMar but he’s probably better suited as the 6th man for this group in a role similar to Benedict Mathurin.

Start Keon, Zach, Keegan and Domantas.

The Kings are missing a 4 that can compliment Domantas.

  7. The owner hires these guys at the Front Office with confidence to do their job well and get paid a lot of money… but it seems like allot of these guys in the NBA that get those jobs suck, and just get those jobs based of lying or by having some sort of relationship? Bcuz u can tell the GM’s that are good and are actually doing their job, and the ones that are just scamming the owner for that big check and seem like their always on vacation…
