Isaiah Thomas scores 53 points in emotional playoff win over John Wall & the Washington Wizards
On May 2 of 2017, Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas put together a legendary performance on what would have been his late sister Chyna’s 23rd birthday.
IT’s 53 points — 29 of which came in the fourth quarter and overtime — lifted us to a 129-119 victory at TD Garden to take a 2-0 lead in the 2017 Eastern Conference semifinals.
Thomas finished with the second-highest postseason point total in franchise history, one shy of John Havlicek’s record 54 from Game 1 of the 1973 Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Atlanta Hawks.

These Celtics were really fun to watch
He was a DAWG. Gave it his all in green. It sucks what happened with his hip and with the business side of the sport. Always a fan.
LET HIM FINISH HIS CAREER HERE AT HOME 💚
Bring him back, he's got another 50 point game or two left on him 💚
THE LITTLE GUY! What a fun squad to watch. RIP Tommy
