This Finland prospect could take over the NBA!

Finland is turning heads with their incredible play in EuroBasket behind Lauri Markkanen. But there’s another incredible prospect playing for Finland that might be one of the best prospects coming out of Europe. It’ll be in the 2027 NBA draft but Miikka Muurinen is going to be phenomenam when he joins the NBA.

    His head isn't there yet. He gets mad too easily and focuses too much on complaining and swearing. He has to work on that. I raged hard when against serbia in the 4th quarter he started complaining to the referee while wide open under the basket, got passed to and didnt notice. Finland turned the ball over because he looked the other way crying. Against Lithuania I was sat next to Finland's bench and he spent most of his time raging on the bench. Very high potential, great player, but has to work on mentality.

    Not probably a stat that matters too much but he plays on avg 10 min for Finnish National Team and is still the 2nd best blocker for the team. It might give insight how good he is already on defensea, OR how bad Finnish team is outside its superstar & future star.

    I hear that Muurinen is quite arrogant and egotistic. He is not a team player and often more of a burden than help for the team. Sounds like a lot of locker room drama… Sure, he is still quite young and may mature. But this seems to be his personality, and that's hard to change and easy to fall back at a later stage in his carreer….

    I truly hope Slim Jesus isn't part of the Jazz ever. For his sake. And for Finnish fans who have had Lauri stuck in more or less miserable teams for 8 years.
