People like me have been saying all along that Simmons would be out of the NBA when his contract expired. Sure, he hooked up with the Clippers for a while, but he was never going to play beyond that. But Simmons is such a phony that he can’t just say “I’m retired“, Instead he has to pretend he still wants to play but no team wants to meet his price. There was never a chance of him EVER playing for an east coast contender like the NY Knicks. No fukking way.He couldn’t handle the pressure of sitting on the bench.
