What move would you like to see the Nets make to reach the salary floor before the start of the regular season?
I was hoping that they'd get to the floor by paying CT. Can they get another asset by taking on a salary dump? Maybe Oubre? With their cap space, can they trade CT for Anfernee Simons?
Can Nets trade Cam in the season?
It wouldn't exactly get us to the floor after releases but I've heard about a potential Jett Howard salary dump, and I really like that idea if Orlando is seriously considering it, kinda like taking Z last year from Memphis, plus Juwan Howard is on the coaching staff so that's always cool to see.

Now, If Marks can get the protections of the 2028 FRP taken off or even take it down from 8 to 4 (I still don't understand why he agreed to a protected FRP for Harden, Years later, Morey was able to trade an older Harden and got unprotected FRPs) otherwise, Keith Smith suggested The Nets could guarnteed the non-guartneed contracts and then waive them to meet the salary floor. I like that idea better, Tyrses Martin, Jalen Wilson, Keon Johnson, and Drew Timme walking away with 2M is alot better than adding another useless 2nder to help Morey keep talent.
Regarding a potential Anfernee Simons, maybe The Nets were hoping Cam wouldve taken their deal and they could have used his salary in the trade. The Celtics needs to shed $12M to get out of the Tax, Simons makes $27M so taking on a $15M contract gets them under the Luxury tax but now Cam is off the board with his salary and NTC, The Nets could use Terance Mann's contract which also works out for the celtics to be able to keep the salary slot, they will likely use to get their starting center.

Celtics have to be under the tax for two seasons in order to reset the repeater tax penalties. One possible trade with the Celtics could be Highsmith and Zaire Williams for Simons and a 2026 first round pick. Nets could then waive Simons.
Simons worries me for our youth development, especially cause we would play him a lot to try to flip him
