   I think what Spurs fans need to realize about Devin is he ain't getting hate for no reason. When you get paid what he's getting paid you expect him to perform to that contract which he hasn't. Now I'm not saying he is Ben Simmons but we all know he wouldn't be getting half the hate he gets if he was on a veteran minimum. He's hated because he's getting paid and rarely plays. There's expectations that come with that pay day. Well of course everything else Ben has done but it's just an example not saying they the same before a Devin fan gets after me. It's just an example to let all the Devin fans know it ain't coming from nowhere like y'all might think.

   Last year cp3 didn’t wanna give him the ball and treat him like a number two ball scorer, he looked much better when him and Fox were on the floor with out cp3 as you saw flashes of the crazy speed adding castle. Thats gonna continue and he’s gonna be better

   Clan still on that Vassell bandwagon cuz that's his guy, regardless of all evidence and video to the contrary. Dude, you guarantee he'll have the same stats? What a hot take! By the way, a guarantee doesn't mean anything if you don't put anything at risk. That's called an empty promise

   Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson was and is a failed 5 year project they were terrible on the court in commercials. in 5 years no improvement jus excuses after excuses year after year! we are still young and learning that was their Motto. castle 1st season improvement was amazing! facts are facts

    Dont see why Vassell should be the 4th option. Its 1.wemby 2. Fox 3/4 can be changed between harper and castle lol. I dont see a scenario where its best for the teams development for vassell to stunt harper or castles growth. I’d rather give the ball to those 4 guys over vassell

    Casual fans just don't understand how the cap and salary works.

    Vassel's contract was made at a time when spurs HAD to meet the MINIMUM salary cap. Slightly overpaying a homegrown guy is the SMARTEST choice the spurs could make instead of giving that money to free agents cause this accomplishes plenty of things.

    1. You meet the salary cap in a time you wont be competing anyway.
    2. It is a form of advance payment since the spurs will most likely have better negotiating power for vassel's next contract extension.
    3. Vassel's contract is declining anyway and will soon be expiring. Perfectly in time for spurs contention window.
    4. This makes the player happy since the franchise showed them more grace than what they deserved. Which will make the entire roster happy.

    Players who can turn heads on defense even without the ball are a rarity and are highly valued by front offices and undervalued by fans since their box stats look average.

    Let me give you guys a simple mental exercise.

    Will opposing defenses even pay attention or turn heads if guys like keldon, castle, harper, fox, barnes, champagnie, or any wing or guard on the spurs roster sprints towards the 3pt line or any pistol or designed play to get a shooter open?

    Outside of victor and devin. No one on the spurs have that kind of gravity without the ball in their hands. Even a high efficiency shooter like barnes cannot shoot 3pointers in motion.

    Imagine running vassel pindowns on 1 side and a wemby fox PnR on another side. That's essentially a runway to the rim.

    Dev reminds me a lot of Dejounte Murray. Dude needs a 3pt shot to stay on the roster long term. Especially considering his contract.

    Je l'ai déjà dit un paquet de fois il faut que jokic arrête de toucher 104 ballons par match il aime trop les stats le coquin (sa présence en fin des deux matchs 7 confirme mes propos sur les stats) j'ai beaucoup d'exemples où il aurait dû laisser un Murray ou surtout un MPJ créé pour kick out sur lui… Il est à 40% en catch and shoot… Difficile pour une équipe de défendre ce type d'attaque…
