The owners wanted the 2nd apron and regressive salary caps so we could have OKC and all the small market teams to actually win. We’re there and owners have never been richer. What further examples or regressive financial mechanisms are needed?
Why are we talking about punishments LESS than the Joe Smith tampering punishment? What the Clippers did was MUCH worse and way more impactful on the league.
I bet everyone does it in some fashion or another. Its easily speculated with big market teams, like a GSW or LA who can give these extra incentives…there just hasnt been a whistleblower yet.
