A TRADE IS COMING and it could involve Tyler Kolek! According to reports, the New York Knicks want to keep two veterans on the team but the only way to do that is to make a trade. This is exactly what the Knicks are discussing and it has been reported that NY has already received a trade offer for Tyler Kolek, so the interest is absolutely there. we all wanted kolek to work in ny, but between his defensive deficiencies and his lazy perimeter passing, i think we're all good. we need a backup pg with some size and defense, otherwise let's just have hart and clarkson doing some part time ball handling.

Kolek has almost Steve Nash potential. He needs another year to dominate the G and work on D. Dont trade future starters for 10-12 min bench guys.
I can’t stand Landry, the guy can’t play defense to save his life, sure he shoots almost 40% from 3 but when your only taking 4 a game 40% isn’t that hard, my biggest problem with Shamet is whoever his matchup is turns into a walking bucket, so even if he’s hitting 3s it’s all thrown out the window if he’s just gonna let his matchup get anything he wants

Let those young guys play. The knicks have a history of not making smart decisions. Why would u trade kolek and dadiet? I might should have never started back watching the knicks. And the fact that so many in the comments agree with this.

If the Knicks are all in this season (which we all assume is correct), championship teams have a number of Veterans on their roster. I would keep both Brogdon and Shamet. Knicks need a true PG odd the bench and I know there are health concerns with Brogdon, but he can take our bench to the next level while taking some of the load and pressure off of Brunson. I would trade Kolek. We are in win now mode and I like our chances with Brogdon and Shamet off our bench.

I don't know what's going on but I'm confuses. We suppose to develop these young guys we got a new development coach what we doing Troy. We can't get what we want Moses we needed and Tyler could of been a sleeper with his passing man.
I think Kolek, Dadiet, McBride and Hukporti will all be made available for trade for the right player/players. These moves suggest the urgency the management has to win now. I think coach Brown will look to bring in Keon Ellis. He needs someone who understands his system to make the transition smoother. Kolek wasn’t getting any minutes on this team so moving him would be a good move for him. Deuce would bring back the best return given his age and contract. With the addition of Clarkson, he becomes a redundant piece. I’m not a Brogdon fan because I think he’s washed. But he might be good for 10 minutes a game to spell Brunson. Shamet I like because of his catch and shoot ability and his familiarity with the team. With our new player development guy we might also look into better scouting for young talent. Our record for young talent needs to improve. We have made some pretty good selections but we made some major misses.
Honestly, I prefer just bring Brogdon. I don't think it's smart to pass on a rookie with long-term potential to bring in a cheap veteran who is a free agent and a short-term piece who will see very little court time. Perhaps this move makes more sense in the offseason if we have any injured players.
If he is traded , it should be for at least a first round pick .

I got bias for Tyler but i think he’s a tradeable asset. But i rather have Landry Shamet & Malcom Brogdon duke it out in training camp for that spot. I see Pacome as OG’s successor & I kinda seee Tyler Kolek as Brunsons successor. I rather not lose a young talent for a 1 year rental 🥲

Why would the knicks want to trade a young potentially good player for some older veterans that we would have to pay big money for down the road but kolek can become a great pg the knicks always let a player go and they go to another team and win a championship smh
If he is traded we will one day miss Tyler Kolek. He will get more time with another team and will continue to improve.
