I do agree with Kenny also. I mean I saw Mitch Richmond and Glen Rice past their primes get rings with the Shaq and Kobe lakers.
If you put Sabonis as Shaq backup and started Lavine over Glen Rice he'd definitely have A ring.
BUT i just saw Tyrese Haliburton lead A Pacers team to one injury away from a team that opened as A -800 favorite and had the highest point differential in NBA history after leading Pacers to east conference finals the year prior. No one in their right minds would have had Pacers one injury away from an NBA championship.
Ive seen Jimmy Butler lead teams with 3/5 starters G league minimum players to the Finals twice in 4 years and make the eastern conference finals in another including absolutely dismantling A 60 win Giannis led team twice in A 4 year period.
But just because A Zach Lavine doesnt have the ability to lead teams like those two doesnt mean He's A losing player.
James Worthy has 4 rings and after Magic retired He never led his team to a playoff series victory though was up 2-0 as an 8 seed against an absolutely loaded Phoenix Suns that made the finals that season.
There is absolutely one player in the NBA that i'll go to my grave that He's a cancer and an absolute losing player is Buddy Hield.
There isnt A person on planet earth that can convince Me that Buddy Hield isn't A losing player and brings the entire team down.
