  1. Can someone please explain to me why I'm clearly insane. It seems like every single year, the team that's expected to win everything never does and the teams that go far in the playoffs, usually aren't the ones you'd expect. Here's my question.

The Grizzlies continue to defy expectations every single year. If you take games missed by key players into account, and the effect it has on the players, the Grizzlies should be winning waay less games every season. There's always a promising glimmer that gets snuffed out by coincidence. From being the 2 seed almost all season, to the usual injuries happening along with whatever internal was happening that ended with their coach being fired, the understandably fall in the extremely tight West. Lose Wells(the Curry stopper 😂) and lose in the playin to doom the post season. Hell, if we take half the games lost that they just fumbled and/or lost by game winners during the season into account that the Grizzlies would've probably ended the year the 2nd seed.

I'm saying this to say, is everyone just expecting the team to be banged up forever? If so, people should be talking about rebuilding the team. If not, shouldn't they be amazing? I'm pretty understanding I think, so please help
