  1. oh man, is warriors stupid? monk + 1st is perhaps the best they can get. right now, you know the player must leave, you aint getting anything significant. warriors gm needs to go to negotiation school.

  2. Correct me if I'm wrong( been out of the loop on cap stuff šŸ˜‚) but in order for JK to be traded to the Suns or Kings, both those teams need help from the Warriors in the form of a sign n trade right?

I think depending on Dollar Amount( of what goes out/in) wouldn't that trigger a 1st Apron hard cap for the Dubs? If that happens, that can actually affect the Hortford deal if he's not willing to sign the minimum. I don't think Nick Richards is the ideal option over Hortford šŸ˜‚… I think Richard's would be played off the floor tbh, for Kerr.
Now, if it doesn't affect Hortford joining, then by all means, at this point, might as well trade.

  3. Everybody commenting that they hate the drama but I love it šŸ˜‚ The longer this shit drags out the more likely it is that Kuminga takes the qualifying offer and completely fucks up the Warriors ability to improve the roster.

Cuz as currently constructed they’re depending on a 37 year old Steph, 36 year old Jimmy, and 35 year old Draymond to take them somewhere. This team’s ceiling is play in AT BEST šŸ˜‚

  4. The NBA's owners need to learn a lesson. Kuminga should sign the qualifying offer, and then leave Joe Lacob ho!ding his nuts after the season..

  5. The thought of Jimmy calling and being like ā€œcome on man, be a team player and sign the dealā€ is hilarious to me. Like he didn’t sabotage the Heat last year.

  6. DO NOT SIGN with the WARRIORS JK…They don't value you and will trade you to some crappy team. Sign the QO and go big game hunting next year.

  7. People wanna give kuminga flack and call him delusional but Honestly I understand him. His wants to play basketball and be the best version of himself. I don’t see the problem here. I do understand the warriors aspect from it tryna compete and needing role players but this is why the two timeline paths don’t usually work. Imagine being kuminga seeing moody who was drafted after you and podz get more PT and opportunity to fail while you on a strict diet. As well as the team basically saying they want to trade you and not giving you no control of your contract. Tho I understand both sides I’m with kuminga in this one

  8. This saga is dumb. I'm shocked they're willing to give him that much money. He's nothing special, hasn't developed, he's going into year 5 after having by far his worst shooting season in his career. He nearly averages as many turns as assists. Doesn't rebound well. Whose going to want a bench player for 25m a year? The guy only scores the ball and he almost didn't shoot 30% from 3, and 45% from the floor. He is not good.

  9. Forget about the qualifying offer. Take the 3 year and $75 million with the 3rd year a team option and a no trade clause or the Warriors could guarantee the entire $75 million. The 3rd year the OG PLAYERS, Curry, Butler and Draymond could all be free agents.

  10. He’s basically saying ā€œtreat me fairly or pay me for not treating me fairlyā€ sounds fair to me. I don’t see how anybody could not have the warriors as the bad guy

  11. So, why hasn't he taken the qualifying offer if he's so confident in his abilities and hates being a Warrior. Just do it already. This guy needs to fire his agent. Turner is a fool.

  12. I agree with warriors' careful management of salary cap and long-term budget health.
However, I am skeptical of Jimmy Butler's 2 year 110 million extension when they could have upgraded their roster significantly with that salary. Only Steph is worth that much salary.

  13. The situation for Cam Thomas and Jonathan Kuminga is not the same :
    1) Cam Thomas took his QO. As the Nets will want to lose as much as possible next season (to chase a top4 player at the draft) and will want to make playing their armada of rookies, Cam Thomas should get a very reduced playing time (even DNP for some games).
The teams which should have space under the cap next summer will be : Wizards, Bulls, Jazz, Lakers, Nets and Blazers.
I really doubt that one of this team will make of Cam Thomas his primary target of the free agency.
And if one of this team doesn't offer him a +20M$ per season contract, he will have to chase a nontaxpayer-MLTE : around 15M$ per season. I have the feeling that he will only get the NTP-MLTE…

    2) Even if Jonathan Kuminga is taking his QO, the Warriors need him to keep playing to stay a playoff team. Out of Kuminga, the Warriors' bench is not loaded enough (even if they sign Melton, Payton, Horford,…).
And at the free agency, one of the listed teams below can take the risk to offer him up to 30M$ per season because he is still very young.
The only drawbacks to take the QO is that he will lose 17M$ this season and he should absolutely avoid to suffer a severe injury during this season.
If I were him, I would take the new offer from the Warriors, try to perform very well during the season's first three months and would pray to be traded before the trade deadline.

  14. Despite the article, Kerr doesn’t want to play Kuminga major minutes with Stef, Butler, and Green. Kuminga is in a tough spot. He thinks he’s better than he is. His best offensive skill is attacking the rim and he’s just an ok defender. He’s a role player and their value is less now than it was in the last CBA. I can understand why he wants to be an unrestricted free agent and choose his next team. But no good team is going to give him 25-30 million. I get why the Warriors want the team option, as that’ll make it easier to trade. They should have traded him before this offseason when his context had more value.

  15. If Loseminga was worth 3 year $75 million there would have been teams clearing cap to compete with Warriors in signing him. The only teams that wanted him were ones in terrible cap situations that wanted to dump bad contracts of players they don't want for him along with bad draft capital and wanted to do so in sign & trade. None of those trades helped the Warriors next season.

No one values this delusional fool. He has shown ZERO ability to adapt to the way the Warriors play basketball. Incredibly bad IQ,. Poor rebounder. Bad handle. Turnover prone. Lost on offense/defense regularly. Low motor. Awful shooter outside of 1 foot. All he does is run fast and jump high. When he scores 90% of the time it's because some other player created a lane for him to get an easy layup or dunk. He doesn't create for anyone else. Provides zero spacing. Off the ball on defense he is among the worst players in the NBA. His rotations are clueless. His closeouts lazy. His defense in the paint is laughably bad.

Instead of whining about playing time and NOT showing up to team practices in the off-season this guy should have put his head down and listened to what his coaches were asking of him. Delusional fool is uncoachable.

  16. He is a Amare Stoudemire type of player.. He is not the type of player that will win you in playoffs. He is athletic and nothing else.

  17. Man so much talking before you get to any news I actually wanna hear yall need to hire a producer – shorter videos It’s so hard to watch your videos even though I want to watch videos.

  18. Cam Thomas has reached his potential. Kuminga hasn't. He wants to have a chance to play and that's not going to happen on the Warriors. Personally I don't believe in restricted free agency. The team has all the control. Other teams want him and believe in his talent. That offense is Steph centric and not easy for a lot of guys to fit. The Heat would be a good fit for him, because they let guys create more off the dribble. Spo would give him the best chance to develop. Isn't Kuminga only 22?
