If they aren't going to use the 14th spot to sign a big then I'd be ok with Cedi. He's definitely playable depth and with Strus out for a while it might make sense. What I don't want though is Cedi coming in and taking minutes from Jaylon Tyson.

Hi Mac. Cavs #1 fan in Turkey here. I love Cedi. I thought JB didn't give him a fair shake and let him play to his strengths. He had too short of a leash with Cedi.
One piece of context that might be interesting. Cedi got married a few years to a pretty famous turkish actress from izmir (whos friends of friends with my wife actually for what its worth😅)
If i understood correctly one of the reasons cedi moved to the greek leauge was to be closer to his wife who unlike most foreign nba players wife couldn't simply relocate given her own career in turkey. Izmir is only 60 miles east of chios greece and athens to Istanbul is 1 hour flight.
So cedi might be opposed to making and nba return but I'd love to have him

Cedi was always our best starter next to the big 4 when he played for us. His +/- numbers were undeniable.

Didn't really care for Osman when he was here. However with a whole different style offense he might be able to help during the regular season, especially with the current injuries and the injury history of others like Wade, Hunter , and Ball.
A veteran minimum contract for a guy whole could go 7-9 from 3 could steal and few wins during the regular season, and every win counts.
