REPORT: Miami Heat are interested in EuroBasket star, Roman Sorkin. The report came in from SNY’s Ian Begley, as the Heat have interest in Sorkin alongside the Knicks and Trail Blazers. Sorkin played college basketball at Oregon but has never played in a NBA regular season game. Sorkin has been playing in the Israeli League since 2018, although, played for the Golden State Warriors Summer League team in 2024. Sorkin made headwaves this Summer playing for Team Israel in EuroBasket, as Israel made it to the round of 16. Roman Sorkin, 29, is a 6’10” big that weighs 229 lbs. Sorkin has played professionally for Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv since 2018. Over the past two years, Sorkin is a 2× Israeli League champion, Israeli League MVP and Israeli League Finals MVP.
