Let's be real. We have too many guards… Monk makes to much money in today's NBA economy. Of our first round picks in the past 5 years, Keegan is the only guy who is clearly better than the Kuminga (and some would dispute that). Point is, it is highly unlikely that a first round pick that we have in the future is going to be better than Kuminga, and even if that person is close, it's a minimum of 3 years before he gets close to where Kuminga is today. If you could tell me that the first round pick is a top 3 pick… maybe it is different. Ask the Waarriors how Wiseman worked out. Offer the warriors a top 3 restriction. Some risk for both, but it gets the deal done.
Do the deal. Kuminga is 22. Do it!
Looks like dubs coming bk to the table. If jk takes the deal its gonna be a total loss for the dubs.
There is NO WAY I would drop protections on the Kings 2030 first round pick considering that the Spurs have a first-round pick swap in 2031. So there are 2 years in the distant future where the Kings will probably only have 1 first round pick in the 20s.
Now I might give the GS the 2031 first round pick from Minny unprotected, but that is seriously pushing it.
Give them first pick kuminga is the future
In 2 or 3 years the King will fired their manager and coaches cause they are not taking chances to be better
Do NOT drop the protections. In fact!!! The Warriors are the ones who are desperate here NOT us. Whether we have him or not we’re not gonna be good. He’s the Warriors problem and if the Warriors dare to pick up the phone and call us we should offer them LESS than the original offer. Crank up the heat on them!
If he comes debo can rest
