26:23 – right after OG was traded, Scottie took on the void of OG's defencive role, which completely wiped out his legs, because of the role he was preparing for over the summer.
On offence, we had to incorporate 2 starters, so he went into that more connective role, and change on defence affected his shooting.
And he still became an Allstar.
It takes a special player to do that. He's shifting between skillsets, to get the overall game going.
I don't think any other star player has done that, this early in thier career.

I believe Scottie is over paid ove hype. I also believe he is a very good player but this nothing like what you guesstimate.
RJ s career average is .07 less than BI's yet BI is given colladsol praises over RJ. Rj led the Raptors in points for 2 seasons. This will be the 3rd God willing, RJ BI and Scottie are equally good in my books for different reasons and some similar ones
Seems his averages dropped around the same time it became clear tanking would be the best option. Im sure shooting decreases when in the back of your head even a little u think tank is good

The single biggest contribution to Scottie’s improvement this season will be that the Raptors are trying to win games. Playing in line-ups targeting wins rather than development will have a vast impact on the way Scottie plays and the numbers he puts up. I was full of admiration for what he achieved last year given the constraints placed on him by the focus on development and I expect this year to be a torally different story.
Samson could you (unlike the Raptors) throw the Prairies a bone and offer some details or dates, if any can be had, of when UofC open scrimmage tickets are available?
43:22 I was for the Giannis for Scottie & others trade. Because I don’t think Scottie’s best ever year (in the future) could be Gianni’s worst all star season stats (23-9-5), but I believe man.
Give me something closer to Kawhi or Pippen (two-way stars) type or future & an elite scorer like BI + multiple 3&D guys, guys who can score off the dribble (3-level) and not a Gary Trent Jr.
I’ll be happy as a Raps fan for years.
