Larry Bird would Destroy in Todays NBA

  1. Larry Bird would average a triple double in today's era. Before the back injury and double foot surgeries he was the best overall player to ever lace them up. And is as clutch as they come.

  2. Bird was averaging 28 10 7 in the 80s. Shooting 50 40 90 splits. He could score in ways that modern players can't even wrap their heads around.

  3. Larry Bird was always playing chess when like 92% of the people he was playing against were just playing checkers. His basketball IQ is off the charts. Even if you find someone today who could guard him (and that is a BIG IF) you wouldn’t be able to stop his passing. He’d end up with 20 assists if he wasn’t scoring. He made everyone around him better.

  4. No player in this era is on the level of Larry. People forget, Bird averaged 10 boards for his career in peak physicality. In this era, Larry is 30-15-10 every year.

  5. Bird was the BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE FOR 5 YRS STRAIGHT ! 3 MVPS IS N A ROW. BD is absolutely right. Bird would kill in today's league

  6. Nobody in his era could cover him, and nobody from THIS era could cover him either. Even after telling the other team what the play is, where he was going, and how he was going to put it in your face, they STILL couldn’t stop him!!!

  7. Bruh he was one of the best shooters to ever play the game, he's gunna be good in whatever Era you put him. The dude was Hawkeye for basketball, he just can't miss.

  8. Larry was a monster and in this era of no hand check, emphasis on shooting, spacing, training advancements, and couple that with his skill already nigga it’s GGs he smoking shit

  9. Over six seasons from 1982-1988, Bird averaged 26.7 PPG–and took two 3's a game. Jayson Tatum already has taken 4,180 3's in eight seasons. Bird attempted 1,727 3's in his entire career.

  10. None of these current fools are their listed heights. They get measured with shoes on so your typical what they call 6’10 is really 6’8 maybe 6’9. In the real era of basketball they measured the players in barefoot or with socks on. Nowadays a 7 footer may only be a 6’10 guy. Karl Anthony towns. Omg like AD another huge waste of alleged talent.

  11. Bird is a physical ball player and with no hand check Bird will dominate. These new players never played in the physical era. Bird will cook'em.

  12. All the Badasses from 60 to 2000 would destroy today's players internationals are best players today! Hoax ,they played D and hit the Boards along with Scoring ! The Legends would Blow todays players off the Court ! Stretchers Needed !
