I wish Finch had figured out how to add Clark and TSJ to last year's playoff roster more. When we beat OKC in the regular season they were a big help. Dilly too.
Controversial take, but if in 2024 we traded away NAW and Mike instead of KAT then I think we would've been unstoppable coz TSJ and Clark would've stepped up and Rob would've improved at a much faster pace too. Keeping KAT to defend alonside Gobert would've ensured best defense in the league again and our offense would be just as good or better.
Dilly/Clark/TSJ/Reid/Beringer — GOON SQUAD. Can't wait to see that 5 man lineup go wild on defense and run like crazy into the fast break. Simply eating other teams' bench players alive.
I've watched the wolves since the beginning. After so many seasons of disappointments, it is refreshing to watch now. I think they have assembled a valid team that does have a chance to go all the way, barring injuries. I also think they should arrange it so that Minnesota Mike joins the coaching staff when his career is done. I can see him being a head coach some day.
The team started to play with more pace later in the season when Randle would play with the second unit. I think getting Jaden more small-ball 4 minutes will also help the team’s pace.
Mike Conley was the worse starting pg in the playoffs last year. This year he needs to be in the 9th man role. Rob,Ddv,Clark,Tsj any of them should start instead. Rob can bring speed and passing to the starters. Ddv obviously spacing. Clark could guard the other teams best guard freeing up Jaden to lockdown the second option. Tsj could pace and keep the energy where it needs to be. Anything but Mike just standing in the corner to make 2 3s a game would be better.

I really hope rob/clark/shannon get 15 plus minutes a night and if mike conley really shows his age even more I hope rob can get some starting minutes

Clark – pickpocket/disruptor

Nice breakdown. Time for Mike C to spend ALOT more time on the sideline. Not getting the kids involved in the playoffs was a downright throw imo.
