OKC Thunder BEST CHANCE to Repeat | Kevin Durant’s Trade Regret | Celtics ‘New Era’
THUNDER’S TITLE DEFENSE: Can OKC repeat as NBA champions?
Wes Goldberg, Matt Moore and Haize debate whether the Oklahoma City Thunder can repeat as champions and if they’re on the verge of becoming the league’s next dynasty.
They also break down Kevin Durant’s decision to block a trade back to the Golden State Warriors and whether that move could go down as one of the biggest mistakes of his career. Jaylen Brown recently said the Boston Celtics are entering a “new era,” and the guys discuss what that really means for Boston’s future. Finally, they take on a fun question: if you’re brand new to the NBA, which team should you root for right now?

Where is Doug?
One of the most measured OKC takes I've ever heard from Moore. I actually think it gives the Thunder a slightly better chance to win the back to back BECAUSE almost no one is talking about them as the prohibitive favorite. OKC is coming off a title and unlike the last 6 teams to do it, they're not being told it's their title to lose, like Boston, or Denver in the years before. Don't get me wrong, I don't think OKC is being disrespected, they got their flowers, but unlike Boston and Denver, no one is saying "who is going to beat this team?" And for that, I think OKC comes in motivated and ready. With that said, it's still incredibly hard to win one title let alone back to back.
I don't blame kd. The "vocal leader" told u on national tv that we don't need you. Why go back to that?
