Comment Section Rules

Respectful Dialogue Only: Disagreements are welcome—encouraged, even—but keep it mature and thoughtful. Ask questions, spark conversation, and debate in good faith.

No Lazy Takes: Don’t just shout into the void. Comments like “X player sucks” bring nothing to the table. If you’ve got a take, back it up. Explain your perspective so the discussion can actually go somewhere.

Collaborate, Don’t Demean: This space values smart and constructive basketball conversations. No insults, trolling, or toxic behavior.

Keep It Civil: Avoid profanity, hate speech, and inflammatory remarks. Treat everyone with basic decency, even when you strongly disagree.

One Strong Preference (Read This):
Take some pride in how you write. A few typos are fine—we’re all human—but if your comment looks like it was written with your eyes closed, I’m calling it out. If English isn’t your first language, no problem. But if it is, let’s raise the bar. A good coach helps you get better on and off the court—same deal here.

Consequences for Breaking the Rules:

If you violate these guidelines, your comments will be hidden from the channel. You can still post, but no one—including me—will see them.

Persistent offenders may be permanently blocked.

  1. After the gun, after the grenade, after the bazooka, I wonder which weapon Ja will use on the court… I just can stand !!!

  2. Play in team, perhaps. Too many questions: Is JJJ returning in full health? Can the new guy coach now that he's officially in charge? Is Kleiman really the excellent g.m. people thought before the last two seasons? Will the first pick from the Bane trade pan out? Too many questions, though I like the team. Ja needs to play at least 60 games, preferably 65 or so.

  3. The Grizzlies are not a contending team because they are doing everything to stay competitive but at the same time to stay under the luxury tax.
They traded Laravia for economic reasons. They traded Bane for economic reasons.

  4. AVC AVC – its the only time I will complaine about the depth chart, because man you messed it up. How is Ja Morant not a SG??????
Now to be real – the Grizzlies new coach is an amazing coach, who made a team in Europe have a top NBA level offense.. The offense was based on an electric PG who slashes (Short and now Ja). They had a good 3&D wing (Tyson Ward and now Wells😅)
Would love to see how coach does as a head coach in the NBA

  5. As a Memphian, I say respectfully, trade Ja and go with the wealth of young talent we have. Tired of the drama and inefficiency.

  6. Yeahhh, it's gonna be rough for the Grizz, man. The team is good, but as you said, they gotta solve some of those problems, and the West is just that competitive.

  7. I have the Grizzlies in the ‘who the fuck knows’ category because their star player can’t seem to make up his mind whether he wants to win titles or just wants to make a lot of money and live the good life. As Ja goes, so go the Grizzlies. A very talented team, but leadership really matters and if the best player doesn’t give a flying fidoo, neither will the team. If Ja cares, they could be as high as 5th; if not, as low as 11th.

  8. welcome back to basketball for me!! after being totally nfl-pilled for like the last two months, it’s finally time for me to catch up on my nba homework haha.. so i spent four flights over the last week getting up to date on your season previews.

amazing content!! one small thing i noticed is that your videos are a little repetitive. it seems like every preview has a description of epm, a rundown of your background in statistics, a bit on your background in scouting, the avc voice talking about the depth chart, and a lot of the same descriptions of cap mechanics. i totally understand the value of all these things individually.. but combined, they probably take like 5-10 minutes per video and for your viewers who are watching every preview, they start to get a little redundant and annoying. would it be possible to have a video pinned to the top of your channel that talks about your background, then make your other videos more focused on the relevant content? no worries if not. it’s your channel, and you should run it how you want. and either way, you’re making fantastic stuff!!

love your points about cedric coward. he’s gonna be a great day one fit in memphis. obviously the grizz are always starved for shooting which is coward’s calling card. as much crap as dillon brooks got during his time in memphis, i do think the grizz missed having a wing who could chuck up a contested two with four seconds left on the shot clock. with cowards long wingspan, high release point, and soft touch from the midrange, hopefully he’ll be able to take some of those shots and maybe even hit them at a higher % than brooks could.

i disagree with your drive by on orlando’s playmaking. i 100% believe kcp could have a better season this year, but if he does, it will be attributable to positive regression and not better playmaking. during the nuggets championship season, 47% of kcp’s threes were wide open, and 45% were open. last year in orlando, those figures were 46% and 42% respectively. so the shots he was taking were about the same. he was just hitting way less of them. again, i do think he could shoot better this season, but not because ja morant, scotty pippen jr., and ty jerome set him up better than paolo and franz could.

curious to hear more about your jerome point. i loved the season he had last year, but totally understand that a lot of his success was predicated on tricks and craft that could be on more scouting reports this season. that said tho.. the skill level is absolutely there, and his understanding of angles, physicality, ability to use screens, dribbling in tight areas, and touch on floaters are all wonderful. i don’t see why ty jerome couldn’t be the next malcolm brogdon or tj mcconnell, as an underathletic guard that makes a living in 2-point range using a high skill level and a great bball iq

ultimately i agree with you though. i see this grizz team finishing around the bottom of the play-in in the west. they do have the potential to finish higher. the rim protection should be elite, they should be a good transition team, jerome and pippen is an amazing backup backcourt, so their bench units should be awesome. but ja and jaren are always huge risks to miss time.. they’re giving important rolls to guys like coward, wells, edey, and brandon clarke.. and while i’m high on some of those guys, they still have something to prove.. and lastly, i’m on the fence about iisalo. i understand that jenkins wore out his welcome by the end, but by prioritizing depth, transition, offensive rebounding, and defense, he put together a system that just farmed regular season wins (and probably underperformed in the playoffs). i think jenkins came close to maximizing this group as a regular season team, and i don’t see the grass being greener on the other side.

i predict the grizz go 38-44 and finish 11th in the west.

  9. I can see that a lot of these comments are questioning what the ceiling is with Ja and if it’s time to move on. Fortunately, Sacramento savior Nate “The Great” will never give us such a dilemma.

  10. I have several larger creators mentioning hyping vids, it must do something. My opinion as an outsider, the Grizz need to get in win now mode, just as your suggested trade implies. While the off season moves were good, only if they lead to building the team around the chosen prime aged players. Saying in the play-in continuously is NBA purgatory.
