    We had to remove the VanVleet training wheels eventually. I am looking forward to watching Amen pilot the Rocketship

    They should Start Reed & Amen together out of the gate. Believe in them even when things doesn’t go well sometimes, stick with them and that’s how they gonna put it all together. Give them confidence.

    I know it sucks right now, my fellow Houston Rockets fans, and I wish Fred a speedy recovery, but this will be a blessing in disguise for the Rockets. Amen Thompson is READY for the point guard duties, and Reed Sheppard will step up and show he is a cornerstone for this Rockets franchise going forward.

    It does hit the championship odds a bit, but if Reed can play like he's half of FVV, then the Rockets should be fine. Not too worried. Might not be a championship this year, but you never know. Ring number three will be here.

    First of all, it's very sad to see this happen to FVV, and hopefully he will be back on the court asap. That said, it's actually ironic that many commentators and I were calling on the Rockets to not resign FVV and instead go ahead with Amen and Green, with Reed, at the end of last season. Now, after all of the moves made by Stone, I think everyone, for the most part, was on board with how things shook out. Now, it seems we will get our wish, but this is not how we would have wished it would have gone down.

    Still here we are. Amen and Reed will have to step up or the Rockets run for this year is over before it starts. Sometimes there is no outrunning fate. Men make plans and God laughs.

    Gatlin. I remember when we drafted Reed Shepard you had your cape on so, why are you back peddling on if he can step in and replace an overpriced 5'10 PG.

    I'm sad to see someone as dedicated to the game go out like this….but if I'm being 100 … I don't and never seen him as an integral "player" rather than an integral teammate/mentor….And he can still be that guy on the sidelines. We will now have to see what this Reed hype is all about. In some ways, this is what all those clips of FVV coaching up Reed has built up to. Also, we have a very flexible lineup …. And with Al P's ascendancy he will now have an increased role with the ball. i'm not convinced he'll be as big of a miss as ya'll are making it…. We could panic and trade Tari for some patchwork guard…but chill tf out and believe that the work that Ime and FVV have put into coaching these young guys up will pay out….and add KD to the mix as a vet…. We gonna be good…this also could be a catalyst for Amen to get to All Star status quicker than we expected

    If we can’t trade any non rotational players until December 15th, we only have to be very decent in standings for the whole month of November. I still believe in this team, if I were Rockets I would consider playing Josh Okogie as a backup guard. He has chemistry with Durant and good defensive guard. We might as well get Holiday, Tate, and Green some minutes too while they’re still here on the team.

    They should go with what they have in reed and amen. If in December the team is struggling only then should they look for other options. Don’t make desperate decisions.
